A: Yes, you can use a stereo to dual mono splitter to connect the line out on the H8 to left and right powered speakers.

Q: 2. Can the h8 record separate files for each track?

A: The H8 would be able to record separate audio files for each input on the device.

Q: 3. Can it be use with midi

A: No. There is no MIDI capibility in this recorder

Q: 4. I have a zoomH6 but I am looking at the 8 because I need the extra inputs. Does the 8 still records to separate files or does record on one big file?

A: The Zoom H8 can record to separate audio files, as long as Multitrack mode is selected , in the Audio settings menu.

Q: 5. When the Zoom H8 is connected to power does it recharge the internal 4 x AA batteries?

A: The H8 recorder has no internal batteries, it ships with 4 AA batteries, but those are not rechargeable. You can use rechargeable batteries with the recorder, however; those cannot be recharged inside the recorder, if you connect the unit to a power outlet. You will need to get a separate set of rechargeable batteries and a charger.

Q: 6. Is this compatible with the Sennheiser Ambeo VR mic?

A: The H8 does not have an Ambisonic recording mode. For Ambisonic recording modes, we would recommend the Zoom F4 or Zoom F8 recorders.

Q: 7. Can you connect the H6 to it

A: I'm not sure of what type of application you will be using both recorders for, but you can send the output from one recorder to the input on the other recorder. The output signal will be line level so make sure that you are connecting to line level input. Please contact us by phone or through live chat to provide us with more information and explain the type of application the recorders will be used for so that we can best assist you.

Q: 8. As a podcaster, can I plug headphones to each channel? four mics with four headphones, one for each guest. if this is possible I am selling my Rodecaster Pro for the H8.

A: This unit does not have 4 individual headphone outs built into it. To achieve 4 headphone out from this unit, you could purchase a separate 4 channel headphone amp and attach that to the headphone out on the H8. Here's an example: BH #POHPA4X2.

A: Yes, the Zoom EXH-6 Dual XLR/TRS Combo Input Capsule for H5, H6, and F4 Recorders is compatible with the Zoom H8 recorder.

A: Yes. Zoom claims an EIN of -123.5dBu

[Yes] I received my travel case and was immediately impressed by the solid construction, well thought-out design and customizable nature of the case. From thick, durable material, roller wheels and dual-position lockable roller handle, four latches (One on each short side and two on the long side), two padlock holes, and rubber gasket for ensuring the contents are safe from the weather. I took my case on a camping/hiking trip in which I was going to be filming waterfalls. The case sat outside in the weather (just outside my tent) for 4 days straight, collecting dew on the outside, but all of it's contents was safe, dry and secure from the weather on the inside. I was putting a lot of trust in the case to protect several thousand dollars worth of camera equipment and everything was clean and dry the entire time. I especially appreciated the rugged design and ease of customization. The soft foam that are pre-scribed cubes, made it super easy to make multiple, very detailed 3-dimentional shapes. There are 3 separate layers of foam, which is nice and allows you to build a shape of varying depths for objects of complex shape. The case is a little heavy and you'll want to take advantage of the roller wheels when you can, but it also contains handles on three sides that are spring loaded and will snap back to be flush and out of the way when being stored. The handle grips themselves are extremely comfortable and grippy and feel very secure. One other thing of note is this case is stackable and can lock into each other if you have multiples. I have three and they are very secure stacked. It's a very well built smart design and you can tell this is a very mature product. Overall, this case is amazing and I highly recommend it. Several people on my trip commented on how impressed they were and expressed interest in picking one up themselves. Don't think twice about it... it's absolutely worth the money. 5

[Latch] After a few days, i realize that case it's amazing. Safe, secure, and solid. I put my zoomh5 and a Tascam dr05, with batteries, cables, etc., and no problem. Great product! 5
