[Built-In] These things are solid, safe, and super easy to operate. The locking function is sweet. The fact that the entire thing doesn’t rely on one cable not snapping but instead has a solid metal tooth rail supporting that weight is sweet. The height guide on the rails let you know how high you are and the easy snap in outriggers that tuck away in the base are perfect. 5

[Black, Silver] We use two of these for our portable youth ministries to hoist our truss with moving lights. Our old stand wore out and just bought new ones. These things will last you six years of constant using no problem. 5

[Aluminum, Steel] The stands are extremely heavy duty, and also a little heavy to boot. Quality is better than I expected and we should get many years of good service out of these. The only drawback is the aluminum bracket that slides up and down with a locking pin has some very sharp edges and burrs. It would be a good idea to take a little Dremel with a grinding wheel and round off a lot of these edges to keep from slicing your hand open. That is the only minor drawback that I can find with these. Get them you will not be disappointed. 5
