Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will it take a canon EOS60d plus lenses and stuff ?

A: Yes you would have more than enough room for your equipment listed.

Q: 2. Can this bag be folded flat so i can put it in my suitcase while traveling? i have a backpack for all my gear but need to use a smaller bag once i reach my destination so will need to be able to fold the bag flat in my suitcase

A: Yes, you can fold the bag fairly flat

Q: 3. Would this fit a 1DX+lens ?

A: I don't know the dimensions of your camera and lens. The two removable inner compartments are designed to fit smaller gear. That being said, it fits my D7100 and long 150-600mm lens. You can remove the padded compartments to fit longer gear. That does, however, obviously leave you without padding. It would have been much better designed with configurable padding. The outside is great; the inside a disappointment. Five stars if you have small gear. Three stars if your gear is larger.

Q: 4. Does the shoulder strap still (April 2020) have rubber webbing as earlier Domke bags?

A: The shoulder strap on the Domke F-2 Original Shoulder Bag does have rubber webbing

Q: 5. I received this Domke F-2 but it's a couple inches shorter than my 17 year old Domke it's supposed to replace. Is there a Domke shoulder bag that's a bit larger than this F-2?

A: The Domke F1-X or the F-7 are both slightly larger than the F-2, and might be a good fit for you! https://bhpho.to/3gXcjuy https://bhpho.to/3zPMUeW

Q: 6. Does this product have a wax can?

A: Yes, the Domke F-2 Ruggedwear Shooters Bag comes in the box with a tube of oil to maintain the material.

Q: 7. Is it possible that a battery in this case will be short-circuited if it comes into contact with a metal object such as a bunch of keys? Or does the construction of the case prevent that?

A: The positive terminal doesn't stick out beyond the end of the case - it's partially surrounded by the plastic of the case, I think it would take a very exceptional set of circumstances for any short circuit to occur.

Q: 8. Is there a sleeve for some A4 size documents please?

A: There is a rear pocket that will neatly fit a 25cm X 18cm notebook but it will not fit a folder of A4 paper unfolded. The rear pocket is fine for a small tablet or spiral bound note pad or engagement book but not full sized documents.

Q: 9. Will this 9v caddy hold the lithium ion batteries with the square edges? I have an ipower 9v caddy and they will not fit into it. Thanks

A: No, if your batteries would not fit into the iPower 9v Caddy, they will not fit in the Storacall SlimLine 9V Battery Holder either.

Q: 10. Can anyone suggest a light travel cart that would work with a full F2 (including side pockets)? Had recent shoulder surgery and can’t carry yet this is still one of the best camera cases for working on location.

A: The Travel Smart by Conair Folding Multiuse Cart (Black), BH # TRTS36C would be a suitable option for holding a Dome F2 that is fully packed. http://bhpho.to/3i1vCCU

[Military Green] Lightweight and does a nice job gripping the 123 cells I have used with it (Surefire rechargeable LiFePo 123 cells and Fenix 123 cells with the built in USB charger.

[0.035 lb] This battery holder is simple and well made, batteries click into place and it just feels good in your hand. A great way to sort out batteries. I have lots of battery storage devices, I keep these along with AA and AAA in different colors in a waterproof box in my go bag, they are compact and no way can you accidentally short the batteries out. Great product and inexpensive.

[Handheld Only] I use the CR123 for my light meter. I keep spares and this is the perfect way to store them.

[0.035 lb] No more baggies with batteries (or worse, loose batteries!) in the bottom of my bag or in a pocket!

Have used these for years for AAs, AAAs, and 123s. Great for organizing rechargeables and for grab-and-go assignments. Never a problem with one.
