I bought it for work (on eBay), loved it, and then bought another one for home.� That one I found on B&H and spent a lot less for.� :-)

[ABS Plastic] We recently added a few of these cascade 8 pin cables to our mobile rig in order to gain better control of our PTZ Optics cameras. We have been using the supplied IR remote control, but sometimes it was difficult to make it work because of line of sight and other factors. We bought a PTZ joystick controller and then wired up the cameras for control. Once it was set up, we had excellent control over the wire!

[ABS Plastic] This particular mechanical keyboard is simply beautiful, easy to connect, and a delight to use.
For me, it conjures up many hours of typing during the late sixties and seventies. My fingers were immediately at home with this superb typewriter retro

The base is nice and heavy, so it stays put, the keys are nicely clicky and tactile, and (contrary to the assertions made in other reviews) the rear feet have variable height adjustment, which is a nice touch.

One (obvious) thing that sets this apart from a typical keyboard are the round keys, which not only look retro and feel great, but also speed up typing by reducing edge strikes.

All that said, the key spacing and the ridge on the spacebar do take some getting used to. Also, when the unit is new, the keys had a bit of stiction. After a bit of use, however, this disappears and the keys are smooth and fast.

[Dark Brown] I bought these because I have a mix of NDI and older PTZ Optics cameras. I control the NDI cameras over the network using a PTZ camera controller and the PTZ APP on an iPad, but I did not have control of my older SDI cameras...until now. I am very glad I bought these cables.

[Dark Brown] I am more than delighted to write this review, as this is the best thing I bought this year.. From its bone white base color, to it's gold trim it is a pleasure to work with... This retro keyboard not only looks good but brings back a fond memory of my 4th period high school typing course, Only better..! And coupled with my new Jelly Mouse it's a complete complement to a already beautiful computer...
