The Pelican 1150 Case with Foam in orange is an unbreakable, watertight, airtight, dustproof, chemical-resistant and corrosion proof hard case that can be used to carry and protect equipment from the elements. It is made from ultra high-impact structural copolymer for strength and durability. It has a 0.25" neoprene O-ring, and easy-open double-throw latches. It includes an automatic pressure equalization valve for quick equalization after changes in atmospheric pressure. You can carry it with the large handle which allows you to use two hands for heavy loads.

This case has a three-piece foam set interior.

Q: 4. Will this fit a Leica M typ 240?

A: I would think so. I use it to store my M2 body, a Voightlander 50mm f/1.5, a Voightlander 35mm 1.4 and a Minolta 40mm f/2 for a CLE.M2 size: 138mm x 77mm x 38.5 vs M240 size: 139mm x 80mm x 42mm.

Q: 5. Hi,Does anyone know if this case fits light stands as well as the lights? I have 2 Qflash lights and the stands.Thank you :)

Q: 7. Will I need to get a desiccant to put in the case? I would be using it with a DR-100mkii audio recorder, and I don't know if humidity changes only affect cameras/optical devices. I live in an area with cold winters and humid summers.

A: I bought mine to keep a pair of Image Stabilized Binoculars in. If you put any kind of electronics in it, I would recommend using a desiccant. I have a much larger case that I keep a Digital Camera, lenses, and an Image Stabilized Spotting scope in and use the same color changing desiccant that I do with the binoculars. When it turns light pink, it is time to change it and dry it out for re-use.

A: No. You'll need a larger case to safely secure your gear.

Q: 9. Is it newly designed 1150? I heard that newly designed 1150 case is a little bit more convinient and pretty than older one.I wanna buy a Desert Tan, but an image on website is old style - that is black and white sticker.

A: not sure if newly designed or not. only know that when i got it, it felt so much smaller than when i laid out the measurements before i bought it. otherwise, it is a small and lovely case. just small.

Q: 10. Will this fit Canon r5 and 24-70 rf?

A: Yes an Canon EOS R5 and RF 24-70mm lens will fit in this case.

[Latch] First off Pelican is top of the line quality in my opinion. My use for the case I bought is unusual. It's for carrying a handgun on both my boat and jet ski. I sometimes go to dangerous places. But I have another Pelican for my camera worth thousands. That case has been in the water, in extreme heat and beyond banged around. The camera is just fine. The air relief valve for altitude and temperature changes (I guess) really works. The instructions give you tips and ideas you won't find with many others products. 5

[Handle] I bought this case for my Black Magic Video Assist. You can see in the photos that the 1150 holds the video monitor, 3 stacked Canon batteries (plus one attached to charger), a couple small HDMI cables and power adapter for the unit; I keep a microfiber cloth above the padding in the lid for the screen. Although it's a tight fit and there is some resistance closing the lid it ensures that nothing will move around in transport. For the price and size of this Pelican case it's hard to beat. Could be a little bigger but what couldn't?! 5

[Cubed Foam] I have two sets of power tool batteries but only had one case. I bought this one to be able to keep them separate between charging and not keep swapping with a single case. I do worry about dropping, getting them wet, or having other issues with Lithium-Ion batteries. The quality and protection of a case like this gives me exactly what I need to move them around without worrying about the contents. Just in time for when I start using my outdoor tools the most. 5

[Latch] This is my sixth Pelican case, and as always, it is perfect! Really strong case. By error, I order the wrong size, but I don't even think about return it, I will buy a new one.
