Great for stages and wall washing, the Eliminator Lighting Mega Bar RGBA EP is a compact, 42” linear bar fixture that offers the flexibility of RGBA (red, green, blue, and amber) color mixing for your club, bar, or mobile DJ setup. The fixture has a total of 320 LEDs, with 64 red, 96 green, 96 blue, and 64 amber diodes. The fixture can be used in stand alone mode or connected in a primary/secondary configuration.

There are six operating modes, including Sound Active mode, Auto mode, RGB mode, Static Color mode, and DMX control mode (4, 6, 7, 9, 10, 18, and 34 channels). Use the 48 built-in color macros for quick and easy programming. The enclosure includes mounting brackets which double as a floor stand. The rear panel includes the LCD menu, 3-pin DMX, and power I/O for connecting up to 20 units, while magnetic end caps ensure the precise alignment of multiple bars. The Mega Bar RGBA EP is compatible with the ADJ RFC wireless remote control (sold separately). A power cord is included.

Q: 1. Is the DC to DC step-down converter in the dummy battery box capable of handling input voltage higher than the average USB 5v? I'm hoping it's one of those step-downs that can handle 4.5 to 12 or 19, etc volts in because I want to use this with hard-wired vehicle power instead of a 12v to USB adapter. I'm not interested in adapters - I only want to know if I can feed in higher voltage and it will correctly convert to the 3.7-4V that the GoPro needs.

A: CamDo has a version that will support up to 24V input.

Q: 2. Why some of them are with red QR button/switch?

A: The red quick release button is specific to the Pan/TIlt head, from Syrp, in the display to indicate that the feature is in use.

A: This product is compatible with Third-Party Sliders, it should work with almost any slider.

Q: 8. Has anyone ever tried this as a mic boom for long take live production?

A: Haven't tried it but it would work. You would probably need a grip head to hold the mike holder. The cranks for tilt and rotation would be useful. The crank to extend the arm is in an awkward place though.

Q: 9. Is there a bag that can fit this? I'd like a padded bag that would fit this for transport

A: I run a rental house in ABQ and after a lengthy search I never came across a bag that could fit the Mega Boom. Even looked at snowboard and ski bags/cases but all were just too short. Ended up having ProCases custom make a case for us out of ABS plastic w/ foam cutout inside. Significantly cheaper then a Pelican custom. Could always just keep wrapping it in a furni pad, but no style points if trying to impress clients. Best of luck hunting

[DMX512] If you are a musician and you are tired of playing on dark stages where the women can't even see you, then I would suggest buying some of these mini-pars. They are individually dimmable (you do not need a lightboard controller) they give you a wide variety of colors and you won't have to take out a bank loan to own them. Programming is a snap. Just plug 'em in, and you are lit up ready to go. And the women will be throwing themselves at you !! 5

[32 W (Max)] My use-case is for lighting a band on stage on a small to medium sized stages. Most of the venues we perform at do not carry their own lights. As a result, you either bring something or perform in the dark. These mini-par-bar lights are perfect. Easy to set up. They are not heavy. Bright enough to cause some of us to ask for a lower brightness setting. The negative is: the case is cheap and probably won't last that long. I would buy again if lost and I am happy with the purchase. Also, side note, the big A had these on backorder so BHPhoto got the sale - and couldn't be easier. Fast shipping too. 5

[LED / 4-Button] I've been using these lights for a long time but here they were on sale plus a couple of used ones in brand new condition...you can't tell them from new. Shipped almost over night...most excellent handling. 5
