MK3 Amp Update

• There are all-new amplifiers in the MK3 series. Total power has increased, however power allocated to woofers increased substantially. The higher output voltages provide more impact. Universal input voltage compatibility of 90 to 250V provides more flexibility. Waterproof connections provide more peace of mind.

MK3 Enhanced DSP

• The MK3 features an all-new 96 kHz DSP. The pushbutton presets have doubled, from 4 to 8, and up to 100 presets can now be stored in the DSP and loaded via LAN. The comprehensive suite of processing includes meticulously tuned equalization, all necessary high-pass and low-pass filters, as well as multiple protection systems and limiters to prevent driver overload in as many ways as possible.

ControlBASS Software

• ControlBASS software supports an essentially unlimited number of possible BASSBOSS-developed or customized user presets, which integrate seamlessly and coherently with all other BASSBOSS products for effortlessly perfect setups. The latest in DSP programming developments can be added via easy remote updating.

• The VS21-MK3 features a 2500W amplifier with an autosensing globally compatible power supply that can run on mains supplies anywhere between 90 and 250 Volts. Full output power is available on anything over 110V.
• The amplifier’s high peak-output voltage provides intense, high SPL hits, while its sustained output is unparalleled in its ability to deliver the liquid lows.

Innovative Protection System

• The five levels of protection actively prevent overheating of the voice coil, minimize long-term thermal compression, and limit excursion. Because they operate in 5 different modes, the limiters are sophisticated enough to have a largely unnoticeable effect on the transient response and allow the subwoofer to deliver peak output safely. 

New to the MK3 are Neutrik powerCON True1 TOP (Total Outdoor Protection) waterproof mains connectors. Along with a totally isolated input connection section and cones that are waterproofed, the MK3 series the powered loudspeakers are made to be used outdoors without fear of what the weather will bring.

The Ethernet interface can be used to control the cabinet from a computer or to load software or firmware updates. Ethernet connectivity in conjunction with DSP allows signal to be sent via Milan AVB. Firmware updates provide access to this feature. Within the software, multiple cabinets can be grouped together, allowing them to respond to commands simultaneously. This permits the levels of multiple loudspeakers to be adjusted together and yet independently from the levels of other groups of loudspeakers. In addition to individual and grouped level controls,  presets can be loaded and signal levels and temperatures can be monitored. Each cabinet includes a two-port switch, so multiple cabinets can be chained on the same data cable.

A: This bag could be used as battery bag. Having more dividers would be optimal if looking to separate various batteries, but the spacious 11 x 18 x 8.75" interior could hold a good amount.

A: It would really depend on how you choose to orient the camera. The interior dimensions of the Tenba Cineluxe Backpack 21 is 11 x 18 x 8.75" (W x H x D). To better visualize the dimensions, the first image of the bag on our product page shows the bag in the correct position to align with the listed specs. In other words, if you were to lay the bag down so that the largest opening is facing up, the bag will be around .25" to short to accommodate the camera with the audio handle attached. But if you were to lay the camera on its side it should fit.

Q: 9. Hi - dimensions are not clear: what is the height or depth of the case measured from the zippered open (facing upwards) to the floor?

A: 11 inches on the exterior, including the top handle.

Q: 10. Is this too big for international carry on size?

A: It depends on the carrier and the plane being used. The height (21 inches) and width (14 inches) should meet most international requirements. However, the depth is around 9 inches (10 including top handle), and that might be too tall for some regional jets.
