A: Yes the ball head can be replaced and the base would have a 3/8-16" male thread.

Q: 9. Would I be able to fit the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8L IS USM Macro lens in this pouch?

A: Yes, the 100 m m macro fits in the pouch easily. It's a very deep pouch and fits nicely on a camera belt. It also comes with a shoulder strap, which is very convent. The only concern to keep in mind is that fhe pouch closes with velcro and not a zipper.

A: The keys on the jeyboard on not flush with the board, they are a bit raised.

[ABS Plastic] I bought these because I have a mix of NDI and older PTZ Optics cameras. I control the NDI cameras over the network using a PTZ camera controller and the PTZ APP on an iPad, but I did not have control of my older SDI cameras...until now. I am very glad I bought these cables. 5

[Dark Orange] I wear it on a waist belt but occasionally use the with the strap on my shoulder. I really like the lid being Velcro instead of a zipper, makes for faster access to the lens. 5

[Dark Orange] We recently added a few of these cascade 8 pin cables to our mobile rig in order to gain better control of our PTZ Optics cameras. We have been using the supplied IR remote control, but sometimes it was difficult to make it work because of line of sight and other factors. We bought a PTZ joystick controller and then wired up the cameras for control. Once it was set up, we had excellent control over the wire! 5

[ABS Plastic] A great example of what a mechanical keyboard should be. The base is nice and heavy, so it stays put, the keys are nicely clicky and tactile, and (contrary to the assertions made in other reviews) the rear feet have variable height adjustment, which is a nice touch. One (obvious) thing that sets this apart from a typical keyboard are the round keys, which not only look retro and feel great, but also speed up typing by reducing edge strikes. All that said, the key spacing and the ridge on the spacebar do take some getting used to. Also, when the unit is new, the keys had a bit of stiction. After a bit of use, however, this disappears and the keys are smooth and fast. 5
