Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Looking for cable to connect the Vello Freewave Wireless Shutter Release to my FujiXT-2. Vello receiver sized for 2.5mm. XT-2 has 2.5mm or 3.5mm available. Will this work for this application?

A: Take a look at the camera's manuel, if the 3.5 is for remote hook up, no, if the 2.5 MM is for audio that should tell you same thing. My Fujifilm XF-100F uses 2.5 MM port for both MIC/REMOTE and is clearly labeled as such. This being my first Fuji camera can't really speak to the XT-2 but......if you are not using PS (non web based) to process you Fuji Raw files may I ask what program you are using. CS5, ON1 and DxO do not support Fuji RAW, ON1 will process it but converts to Adobe RGB thus negating the menu driving film styles in the camera.

Q: 2. Can this work with laptops that have only USB-A ports?

A: Yes, the Hollyland LARK M2 DUO 2-Person Wireless Combo Microphone System (2.4 GHz, Shine Charcoal) can work with laptops that have only USB-A ports.

Q: 3. Will I lose quality if I connect two of these to maximize distance?

A: Noise can be introduced when using extension cables or adapters. To reduce this, we'd recommend using one 20' extension cable like this B&H # PEMMSB125B.

Q: 4. Will this connect the Rode Video Mic to my Leica V-Lux 4?

A: Don't know but if you call B&H and ask for a audio or camera rep they will tell you, I use it on other make equipment.

Q: 5. How long is this cable. The description says upto 31.5" but the picture looks like it will barely go 12". Anyone know for sure?

A: The BeachTek SC25 3.5mm to 2.5mm TRS Output Cable is approximately 12" when compressed and it extends to 31.5" when fully stretched.

Q: 6. Would this cable work with a Rode Go II receiver?

A: Yes, the Saramonic SR-UM10-CC1 would be compatible with the Rode Wireless GO II receiver.

Q: 7. Will this cable help me connect a Rode VideoMic with a 3.5 mm plug to my Canon Rebel T6 with its 2.5 mm remote control input? Thank you!

A: The Rebel T6 is not able to accept a mic input via its remote jack.

Q: 8. Is there a version of this cable without a locking connector?

A: No, we don't make one like that. But you can easily push back the locking connector and it does not impede the use at all. I use one with a Blink 500 and Blink 500 Pro system all the time.

Q: 9. What is the length of this cable?

A: The cable is 17" long. From end to end of the 3.5mm connector to the XLR connectors is 21".

Q: 10. Will this cable work to connect a RODE VideoMicro external microphone to a Fuji X-T20?

A: Yes, it's exactly what you need for that camera's 2.5mm port.

[Black] Love these cables. The best you can get; you pay more for the peace of mind knowing that they will work. They come with Neutrik Gold connectors (didn't see this mentioned anywhere), which are really the best you can get as well.
