Bring UHD 4K quality video to your production with the dark gray Bolin EXU248N Outdoor NDI 6-Ready PTZ Camerafrom Bolin. This versatile PTZ camera outputs up to UHD 4K30 via 6G-SDI, HDMI, and IP streaming using a large 1" Sony Exmor R CMOS sensor with 14.2MP. This model also supports NDI transmission, which allows the camera to fit right into an existing NDI network, and it is NDI 6 ready. It captures video using a Zeiss Vario-Sonnar T lens that features 48x zoom in 1080p, 18x zoom in 4K, and a wide 64.6° angle-of-view. This outdoor camera features an IP67-rated, nitrogen-filled housing, a wiper, a heater, and a defroster, and the lens features a salt-resistant coating for use in all weather conditions.

A tally light can be added and removed for use in multi-camera environments. The camera can output two simultaneous IP streams via RTP, RTMP, RTSP, or SRT using H.264, H.265, MJPEG formats, and streaming supports up to UHD 4K30. The camera can be controlled via the included IR remote or via IP using ONVIF or VISCA-over-IP, and via serial using VISCA, Pelco-P or Pelco-D, or via FreeD with an optional firmware upgrade. Audio can be embedded or de-embedded from the stream using the LEMO-type audio port. An optional fiber-based SDI module can be added using the SFP slot. The camera can be powered using PoE++ or via an optional power adapter.

Q: 1. Are these camera weatherized in any way?

Q: 2. Can I use a ptz optics ip controller with this camera? I see it can use visca protocol

A: For the best compatibility with the Canon CR-N500 Professional 4K NDI PTZ Camera with 15x Zoom (Satin Black) we recommend staying with the same manufacturer for the cameras and controller which in this case is Canon.

Q: 3. Will I be able to get a good close-up shot on a subject 60 feet away with this camera?

A: At 60 feet the optical zoom is just short of creating a proper close up (it would create more of a medium shot). You will need to use the digital zoom to get a true close up.

Q: 4. Does this camera have a remote control with presets out of the box?

Q: 5. can I use it as a webcam using obs?

A: Yes, the Canon CR N-500 can be used as a webcam in OBS.

Q: 6. can you use a filter with this? and if so what is the ring size?

A: You would not be able to use a filter with the PTZ camera.

Q: 7. Can you daisy chain two of these controllers through a network hub?

A: You could connect a pair of these to a network hub. We are not aware of it being daisy-chained though.

Q: 8. Is it compatible with camera controller on Blackmagic ATEM Television Studio Pro 4K?

A: You will not be able to operate the Pan, Tilt and Zoom from an ATEM Switcher with this camera. For that you would need to use the JVC RM-LP100.https://bhpho.to/2LdI9oZ

Q: 9. Can this control the Canon CR-N300?

A: Both products are listed as having VISCA compatibility, however, the Canon camera is listed explicitly as having compatibility with the Canon branded RC-IP100.

Q: 10. I know newer JVC cameras do both of these, but does this model support SRT streaming and SEI timecode?

A: No, the JVC KY-PZ100 Robotic PTZ Network Video Production Camera does not support SRT streaming or timecode pass-through. .

[Yes] This is a very good camera, the preset set up is very easy to do. If you are going to hook this up to a computer, you were going to need some type of capture card and also a audio input source as well. 5

[48x] I use this controller for up to three PTZ 30x cameras, via PoE Ethernet. Nearly every feature of the camera is accessible through this controller. Besides pan, tilt and zoom, I regularly use manual exposure control, and up to 10 preset positions for each camera. A particularly nice feature is the ability to attach an HDMI monitor to view the currently selected camera via Ethernet RTSP. You set the speed one notch below that of your HDMI or SDI video. This is an essential feature when working with software (e.g., WireCast) or hardware (e.g., SlingStudio) which has a significant lag time. The monitor lag is only a few frames, which is easy to accommodate. I ultimately bought two Superjoy controllers, because I rely on it for nearly every job. 5

[f/2.8 to 4.5] I was worried that it would be difficult to configure, but one single ethernet cable connected to a POE injector and they have power and provide a pristine image to Vimeo's Livestream Studio. It took seconds to go from no signal to live streaming. And learning to set presents and recall presents is as easy as 1, 2, 3. Literally. Push preset, Push a number, and then Push enter. These are well worth the investment. 5

[1"-Type CMOS] We decided to take a chance on these and have found they work flawlessly in a modern IP driven studio. These run perfectly on POE (just one cable for everything) and VMix picks them up instantly. Quality of the image is excellent, low light is good, zoom is very good, autofocus is good (great when you've got your lighting right). We're looking at how to use NDI Bridge to put these in venues around town to bring live shows to the station. Still working out the kinks on that, but, if it works, we'll be order half a dozen or more of these things to spread all over the city. 5
