Q: 1. Does this can be used for Swarovski SLC 10x56? The Swaro's adapter is too expensive.

A: Unfortunately it cannot. The Swarovski SLC have been discontinued. We do have the correct tripod adapter for them. You will find it on our website this is the part number B&H # SWTASSLC.

Q: 2. Can someone post a picture on how the binoculars would attach to this adapter. I can't visualize because the interface on the binocs is perpendicular to the tripod head?

A: The bottom of the adapter has a screw hold for you to mount the adapter to a typical camera tripod, I must mentioned that this adapter only works for Celestron binoculars, because, at the front of the binocular, there is a cover that covering up a screw hold, that is where that screw you see in the picture of the adapter gets to screw in. You can see it in my attached photo.

Q: 3. Will this work with Nikon Monarch 3 bino's? The Nikon version has been on back-order for a LONG time and I'd like to have a mount for watching birds this spring.

A: This should work with any binoculars, regardless of brand.

Q: 4. will this fit my silk sdv-20 tripod? There is no screw on the bottom but a plastic swivel release.

A: That is a Celestron Binocular Tripod Adapter. You would need a -20 screw on the release plate of your tripod to mount the binocular mount.

Q: 5. Will this work with 25x70 astronomy binoculars?

A: This Leica Binocular Tripod Adapter, should work with 25x70 astronomy binocular.

Q: 6. Will this accommodate the Ultravid hd plus 12x50? It says it's for compact and mid sized binoculars. Thx

A: The Nikon TRA-3 Binocular Tripod Adapter is 3.4 inches high, and the attachment piece is 2.4 inches front to back.

Q: 8. Will this work with Trinovid 8 x 32?

A: Yes the Trinovid's will work with this Tripod Adapter.

Q: 9. Does this work with Nikon Monarch 7 (8*30)? What's the width/length of the mounting plate at the bottom?

A: Item Dimensions LxWxH 5.2 x 6.1 x 1.4 inches It dose not have a mounting plate. The bottom just has a 1/4"-20 screw hole to mount onto ant tripod head.

Q: 10. does anyone know if the geovid 15x56 R rangefinding binos fit in this adapter?

A: Yes, the Geovids (all models) fit into this adapter just fine.

[0.22 lb] This adapter is 4-5 times more expensive than a generic one. But this is a better fit for 1) Leica Duravid and 2) Leica Ultravid binoculars. There one cons. The strap is sitting loose at the attachment axis and can be easily lost, so find a suitable case. Once the adpater is in use and the strap is stretched over binoculars, it is secure. Recommended with reservations. 5

[Aluminum] Holds 10x50 Pentax binocular just fine, use permanently mounted to tripod quick release for easy change from camera to field glass, etc... 5

[1/4"-20 Male] This adapter is a bit on the expensive side but if would want to keep you binoculars steady, mounting it on a tripod is the way to go. My Vortex binoculars are held steady with no movement and the adapter doesn't interfere with and of the controls. For kicks I tried it with my Fujinon Stabilized binoculars but they're too big for this adapter. Fortunately I don't need it for them. 5

[Aluminum] If you purchase Vanguard Endeavor binocs and plan to use them on a tripod, this item is the one to get. The mount base is drilled and tapped 1/4-20 to receive a standard tripod mounting screw, and the tapered body shape fits between the binocular tubes without interference. The wide paddle bolt is easy to screw into the 1/4-20 binocular socket, and it projects out far enough from the body of the binocular to avoid finger entanglement, while not intruding into the optical image. Obvious thought and care went into the design of this item, and it does the job. 5
