[Clip] I was getting sick of how off the colors were on my computer webcams and the external one I had bought. The Dell UltraSharp does a great job, and is easy to adjust.

It's not a miracle worker for bad lighting situations (like back lighting), but you can get very good looking images in reasonable lighting situations.

[Yes] The Elgato Facecam Pro is a webcam that has been out around for 1 year now.

It's a 4k 60FPS webcam that many content creators that add a lot of flexibility. Flexibility you ask? Having 4k on a device gives you 4 times more resolution than 1080p. Doing zoom-ins or cropping videos is a lot better on a device like this.

Since the Facecam Pro is also 60FPS in 4k you don't have to decide 30fps at 4k or 1080p at 60 fps. You get the best option out of the box and with all the benefits of 4k.

The setup process was super easy with the Facecam Pro having a 1/4 mount. It works with a lot of mounting hardware on the market.

I would make a change with the cord included because USB-C to USB-C isn't ideal in my opinion for someone who is looking to buy a webcam ( Some motherboards don't have USB-C on the back.) You can buy USB-C UBS-A 3.0 cords and they work just perfectly fine.

My initial thoughts were wow this is a webcam? This is great for scenes in my setup or if I'm trying to achieve something.

I'm big on quality and the ability to have a USB C 4k 60 device is super handy if I need to experiment with different scenes in my stream.

The camera hub helped get my Facecam looking good but seems to not have as many options as the original Facecam. I think this can be fixed over a software update.

Knowing Elgato's history it will most likely happen but it is something I would want.


It felt very sturdy as a product. Feels well-made, and not cheap at all.

If you're in the market for a pro-level webcam and not wanting to spend the money on a mirrorless camera I highly recommend it.

[12 MP] I had my doubts about this webcam as there are a few that do real 4k and also offer multiple options to vary your video. I like this because its auto focus was fast and the blurring of the background was surprisingly good. Granted, I've only used it a few times so far so I am still learning but I found it has everything I want it to do.

[Yes] I was leery about which webcam to buy. I grabbed this one while on sale at BH and couldn't be happier with it - the video clarity and sound quality are perfect.

[Clip] I used this camera for a hybrid event. This camera was turned to view the audience. I had another back-of-the-room camera with 70 - 200mm lens for the online attendees. This was a good way to bridge the gap between the speaker, in-person attendees and the online group. The Osbot camera picked up audience questions as an advantage, making it a better experience for all. It was an acceptable solution to having an Owl camera. We turned off the AI to avoid the bouncing from person to person. It worked great.

[Clip] Compact design, but the output picture quality is very clear. autoframing is very smooth to use. I can always keep you in the center of the picture when I move in a small range during the meeting. This is definitely worth the money. I will recommend it.

[Clip] The Cisco replaced a 12-year-old Logitech. Cisco works great and comes with USB 2.0 and USB-C cables. Image is sharp and clear. Works well in different lighting too. Mic works well. The design is simple and unobtrusive.

[Yes] The Facecam Pro is a HUGE leap for webcams, in fact, it feels like it's in a whole class of its own. The output of this camera, and the amount of control you have over it, is insane. If you're in the Elgato ecosystem, you can control all of the settings with your Stream Deck (or SD+). Forget complicated camera setups, this powerhouse of a webcam can do it all with a single cable.

[1] I bought this camera because of its auto framing feature similar to the iPad Pro. It didn’t disappoint. Works as expected. Video quality it good for FaceTime and zoom calls. I use a maxed out Mac Studio.
