Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Will it fits the canon EOS 5DS R with battery grip and EF 70-200 f / 2.8 IS II USM Lens?

A: The Digital Holster 50 is made to take what they call a pro camera, or DSLR with the battery grip. It will fit it with the 70-200 f /2.8 IS II lens. The bottom of the case can also extend and then you can filt the lens with the hood on it in the case.

Q: 2. With the lower extension out, will a 4.5 diameter lens hood fit into the bottom?

A: Enter hellothe answer is yes see Nikon D-7200 with Tamron 150-600mm + 4.7'' hoodBest holster !TxBoaz A.an answer to this question.

Q: 3. Would this fit a leica Q2?

A: Yes, the Think Tank Photo Digital Holster 5 can accommodate your Leica Q2.

Q: 4. Will this fit for Fuji X-T20 + 18-55 lens?

A: This bag is just a little too small to fit an XT-20 and 18-55 lens.

Q: 5. Will a Canon R5 with a RF 200-800 fit?

A: Yes, the Canon R5 with the RF 200-800mm lens will fit inside the largest size holster.

Q: 6. Does anyone know if the Canon 7DII + the new 100-400II lens with hood and tripod collar attached, will fit this bag, or the 50 v2.0 model?I believe the new 100-400 II lens has a larger hood, and am not sure if the Think Tank bags will still accommodate it.

A: This holster will definitely hold my 100-400 mk2 with hood extended on either my canon 5dmk 3 or my 70d. but that said, it takes a bit of careful folding to fit the strap in as well.JBruce

Q: 7. Hello. I need to know if this bag is suitable for a Canon 5Diii, with battery grip and 24-70, with lens hood reversed. Photos only show regular camera without battery grip.

A: The Digital Holster 30 V2.0 wouldnt be able to accommodate the 5D III with a battery grip. If you have a grip on your camera, you would need to go with the Think Tank Photo Digital Holster 50 V2.0 (B&H # THDH50). The 50 would be able to accommodate the 5D III with a grip and up to the 70-200mm f/2.8 lens attached. If you will only be using the holster with the 24-70mm f/2.8, you could also look at the Think Tank Photo Digital Holster 40 V2.0 (B&H # THDH40).

Q: 8. Will Nikon D5000 with Nikkor AF-S 200-500mm f/5.6E ED VR fit in this bag?

A: I use with a Nikon D750 and 80-400mm lens on, not extended. Of course it has a collar & foot, which does fit but tends to catch sometimes when removing the camera from the holster. You've have to be aware of this in cases where you are in a rush to shoot because it tends to be little combersome to get out. The 80-400mm with camera attached is 11 in length and the lens is 4 in diameter. I used the holster bag today and do often. All in all I fell Think Tank could have made it a little bit wider but I can deal with it, like it, and use it often.

Q: 9. Is there a spot to mount a lens changer bag to this holster? Looking at using this Holster with 5diii with attached 70/200 and a changer bag with a 24-70 2.8. The Lowepro has a spot to mount one of their bags and was hoping the TT would do the same.

A: sorry' can't help in that

Q: 10. Will this bag hold the tamron 150-600 without the lens hood attached. I would be using it with a nikon d7100 body?

A: you should be just fine..but with the lens hood reversed..I use for the tamron lens and my canon 7d. a tight fit but works just fine.

[1.58 lb] I've been looking for something like this for a while. I needed something to carry my camera with the zoom lens attached to events for my kids. I don't like taking my entire camera bag to the soccer game, dance recital, etc, but I do want to have my nice camera and lens with me. This has been a great solution! My gear is adequately protected with a slim design. The top carry handle is just what I need, but there is also a strap I could use to put over my shoulder or use cross-body if I wanted.

[Black] This holster may become one of my favorite pieces of gear. I don't like hiking with my camera in hand and this holster enables me to secure my long lens safely with minimal bulk.

[Empty] really good product I like it very much. It fits my Nikon D750. Before I bought this holster, most of the time I carried a backpack when I went out to shoot. But most of the time what I need is just the camera body, a lens, a remote control and my tripod. Now for daily shoots, I replaced my backpack with this holster. I use the shoulder strap that come with the product so it kind of becomes a shoulder bag. It can easily fits a 24-70 lens or a 70-200 lens. The bottom part can be extended so you have even more room. It has pockets for accessories such as remote control, filters. Now if I just go out for daily shoot, I just carry this holster and my tripod.

[Empty] Very well made, plenty of padding in the places that need it most. The shoulder strap is quite comfortable and the handle on the top of the holster itself is well made.
The Sigma 150-600 lens fits (with lens hood reversed) on my 6D mkii, and the small pockets on the outside are enough for a charger & cord as well as any small items needed.

[Yes] I use with a Canon 5DmkIV and a 70-300mm L series lens. Fits fine without the hood in the holster without extending the extra room. With the extra room extended the hood fits too. Looks like it might not hold the camera easily due to the drop down being off center but it works fine. Has a special soft fold-over to protect the camera display when in the holster.

[1.58 lb] I purchased this bag to carry Sony A1 + 200-600 camera/lens system on up to 15 km hikes. The experience has been positive overall so far. My (admittedly uncommon) preference is to use the 200-600 without the hood. The A1 with the 200-600 lens attached fits nicely into the holster when the bottom of the bag is extended. The bag is well-balanced and sits comfortably at my side when I am hiking. Also, it does not take long to remove the camera system from the holster for action. The only adjustment I made was to replace the original shoulder strap by Nanuk 900-STRAP Shoulder Strap which is wider and feels softer on the shoulder.

[Yes] I take my camera on bike rides to catch nature opportunities. I had been carrying my Nikon with the Sigma 120-400 lens on a strap over my shoulder. This got very tiring with all this weight around my neck. The new Think Tank Holster works great, I strap it around my waist using a heavy duty Army belt and all the weight is now on my hip. The holster allows quick draw of the camera and the lens hood can remain on the lens.

[Empty] I use the Nikon Z 180-600mm with the Nikon z1.4 TC attached to it. It fits nicely.
