Turn one outlet into seven with the black Watson 7-Outlet Surge Protector 1200 Joules Blackfrom Watson, which features seven grounded NEMA 5-15R outlets and can handle power spikes up to 1200 joules. Two of the outlets are also block sized, which lets them accommodate larger plugs without blocking access to other outlets. A 15A circuit helps protect devices such as computers, TVs, and mobile electronics. This surge protector connects to a wall outlet using an integrated plug with a NEMA 5-15P plug and a 6' cord. The plug is equipped with a right-angle connector that is oriented at a 45° offset, which does not block any wall outlets below. Watson's 7-Outlet Surge Protector adds seven additional and protected outlets. If you have a lot of gear, you can now power your computer, TV, sound system, and more from one plug.

The outlets are protected by up to 1200 joules in surging power. LED indicators display working surge and ground circuits so you can easily glance at the outlets to see that your gear is protected.

Watson covers your equipment during power surges and disturbances due to lightning and power-grid fluctuations, up to $50,000 for connected equipment. Whether you're working on your equipment or away from it, you don't have to worry when the weather changes for the worse or the utility company can't handle power.

Sometimes the wall outlet isn't close to the equipment, and the placement of a surge protector can be an eyesore. This multi-outlet unit offers a 6-foot power cord with a right-angle connector. [125 VAC, 60 Hz] Great fit & finish, with just the right weight to be stable sitting on a shelf with multiple cords plugged into it. The LED'S add peace of mind along with a switch. The Kevlar cord on the Austere V could be more flexible, however it might be a plus if you have pets. 5

[125 VAC, 60 Hz] This surge protector is well made and protects valuable electronics from surges while giving multiple power outlets. I think the feature that stands out with this device the most is the usb-c pd delivery port. If you have a proper usb-c cable you can power your device at a faster rate with this pd port. [125 VAC, 60 Hz] If you're reading this than you know how important it is to have a surge protector at all of your major appliances and electronic outlets. This 7-outlet protector has a fantastic build and works as it should. You just turn it on, attach your other devices to it and that's it. I think the best quality of this surge protector is that it has a thick cable that is sturdy. I recommend having one of the at every outlet that has your laptop, TV or major appliances. [Yes 1200 Joules] This power strip is working just as advertised. You can never have too many outlets, so to turn one plug into 6 is great on a production, office or just in the house. And this power strip keeps your expensive equipment protected from surges. The strip has 15amp circuit and can handle power spikes up to 1200 joules. This gives me a nice peace of mind. Watson even provides protections up to $50,000 if something goes wrong due to lightning and power-grid fluctuations. To me, that shows they are very confident in this product. I appreciate that confidence. It comes with a 6-foot cord which is a nice length, and the cable seems very strong and sturdy. The build quality of this power strip is good. The materials it is made of seem top notch and well-made. I like that the male plug has a right-angle design. This allows it to fit flush and discretely into an outlet making it perfect for behind a desk or piece of furniture. This strip also has rear wall mounts, so it is simple to attach to a wall. [Yes 1200 Joules] I think that having a surge protector is a must at every outlet, especially if you live in an area prone to power outages or storms. This surge protector outlet gives you 6 outlets + two usb-a and one usb-c outlet. The usb-c outlet has a PD (power delivery) of 20 watts which is a good amount of power to power devices. Another great feature to this surge protector is that it has two dedicated light indicators. One to indicate that the surge protector is on and one to show the the device's surge feature is active. [1.225 lb] Pretty satisfied with this power strip. 8 outlets is ideal for my needs. My favorite part is the USB ports (4) since I donât need to bother plugging in a USB charger, just the cable. Very convenient. One USB-A and a USB-C port with 5V/3A output for devices that are not power hungry, two additional USB-A and USB-C ports for QC and PD devices. These 2 additional USB jacks (one as USB PD) that can provide up to 20W. On that Jack, I can even charge my MacBook Air even though the ideal power required by it is 30 watt PD, but with the laptop idling it charges very satisfactorily. This 8-outlet strip, 2 of them allows plugging in power adapters, however, not all DC power supplies will fit. Some will get in the way of the next outlet jack across depending on the manufacturer design. Donât forget that this power strip has a 15amp rating and 1875W MAX like most others do. Donât be plugging in â2 microwaves and a hair dryerâ. Thatâs 4,000 watts. Not even a 20 amp circuit can handle that in a single circuit. Common sense and a little electric education comes a long way for safety and common sense. Also, donât run extension cords on ANY power strip. Having 2450 Joules of Surge Protection is good to have and adds a nice peace of mind when plugging in sensitive devices. This power strip also has a surge protector light which is supposed to be a red colored LED when protection is in working status. And finally the on off switch, which is important to have, as I have a Samsung monitor that always draws power when on standby and I donât feel like morning it off from the monitor as the power switch is difficult to reach. I just power everything off from the power strip. It does the job expected for a power strip, has safety features and space to plugin DC adapters, and again, my favorite part are the USBs. [Yes 1200 Joules] The best thing about this surge protector is that it includes usb-c and usb-a powering ports which I don't think is common these days on surge protectors. With a 6 foot robust cable and a right angle plug, I'm able to connect all of my devices to this surge protector and call it a day. I like that the top red led light is subtle and the on and off power switch is on the sides. This surge protector replaces my my old surge protector that only had 5 outlets and no usb-c out puts.
