The 1RU Klark Teknik DN9680 AES50 Extender 1RUfrom Klark Teknik DN9680 AES50 Extender 1RUis designed to stream up to 192 bidirectional channels of 24 bit audio up to 1,000 m via optical fiber or 100 m via CAT5 copper cable. The DN9680 takes 8 AES50 connections and converts them to a gigabit Ethernet snake format for transport to another DN9680 to be re-converted to 8 AES50 connections on a port-for-port basis. The extender includes Neutrik etherCON connectors for the AES50 and copper snake ports and a Neutrik opticalCON DUO connector for the optical snake port.

The DN9680 features an internal web server and is configured by a simple web browser configuration utility accessed via the built-in Ethernet port; this is independent of computer operating system and runs in popular web browser software. The various clocking parameters and menu options are accessible from the browser menu with front panel LED indication for the status of each option and each audio connection. The DN9680 delivers ultra-low latency of 0.1ms from input to output for seamless audio transfer.

A: No stacking. The DN9630 features a single AES50 connector, while the single USB 2.0 port connects directly to a Windows/Mac computer, offering up to 48 bidirectional channels at 48 kHz and 24 bidirectional channels at 96 kHz sample rates

[15 lb] I’m very happy to own these speakers. I’ve done several events with just the Bluetooth capabilities. Not only can you stream your music but also control all your audio sounds levels with app and to top it off, you can pair 2 speakers to run in stereo via Bluetooth. I have controlled my music, mics and speakers wirelessly from my iPhone/iPad. I’ve gotten a ton of compliments on sound and it never fails that someone will come up to me to ask what brand speakers I’m using. Turbosound is not a well known commercial brand but don’t let that fool you. These provide excellent bass and mid/high sound. My only con is the weight but the sound will make you forget about that. For all the features ,well built and durability , they are well worth the price , seriously. 5

[15 lb] I read up on use of the Extender with my 100 - 500 lens and was a bit concerned about the restrictions that resulted in a 300 - 500 lens, but it doesn’t bother me in actual use. The build quality is excellent. I have not noticed any difference in IQ. Great purchase from a wonderful company! 5

[15 lb] I have several different model/brands of rackmount consoles and this is by far the best. large easy to read flat-screen and full keyboard and track pad. Never had a problem with it. 5

[50 W] I really took a chance on getting this extender. After hearing negative comments from users and reviewers for so many years about 2x teleconverters, I figured I'd try it since I could always return it if it didn't fit the bill. This extender is exceptional! I'm using it with an RF100-500 on an Canon R3; Near as I can tell, I'm losing an insignificant amount in image quality, and while the viewfinder image is a little bit darker, which I expected, the lens and extender combination is not nearly as heavy as I expected, and I've now got a manageable 600-1000mm super telephoto. I'm taking my name off the RF200-800 wait lists... 5

[15 lb] This thing is well worth the price, as we use a separate computer to mix our broadcast audio through a DAW. This thing allows us to have that computer in our broadcast studio with no loss of audio quality! Much better than running 100ft of USB, if it would even send anything at that range. 5

[50 W] I purchased this card because I long suspected the card that came installed in my M32r was no good. I do a lot of professional multitrack recordings and was having a lot of trouble getting my computer and the console to read each other. It would take a lot of plugging, unplugging, and replugging, reboots of the console and the computer, and rebooting pro tools a million times before they would read each other. I replaced the card with this one from B&H and it fires up first time, every time. No problems. 5

[15 lb] We purchased this for our TV station to connect to one of our KVMs. It is -much- better than a simple pull-out rack for a miniature keyboard and mouse, which ends up being quite cramped. Plus we save the rack space of having to have a monitor in the rack. The keyboard is basically full-size and there's a trackpad... some of our engineers don't like using a trackpad, but we use the USB pass-through to let them plug in a mouse, so it's great! We did need to buy a special cable, USB Type A to USB Type A, to get the pass-through connected up though. Build quality is outstanding. 5

[50 W] If you are doing multi cam broadcast or complex routing this is a great device. I have it routed as the first stop for my inputs it displays the incoming and then reclocks the signal and loops it out to the switcher and I do the same with the outputs as well. The audio waveform display has saved me in troubleshooting many times. This is a great product and functions perfectly. The little screens don't look amazing color wise but thats not what they are for this is a confidence monitor / reclocker. 5
