Q: 4. How do I put film in?

A: When looking at the back of the camera there should be a button on the left side that you can slide. If it doesn't open, make sure the knob on the top left is released. (If not, pull it up. It is the knob for the film rewind.) Then you should be able to load your film just like any other film camera. Be sure to push the top rewind knob back down before you try to take pictures. I hope this helps! Have fun with it, I know I am!

[Frame, Wall] Installed in front of church and has good, even brightness across the auditorium.

[ChromaWhite ISF] I upgraded my church to widescreen. Our old screens were Da-Lite snapons, and the frames were held on my clamps screwed into the wall.
These Elite screens were a touch tricky to assemble (the frame must be assembled, then the vinyl gets stretched across the frame and you use plastic clips to systematically secure it in place) but they are mounted to the wall with 4 (3 on top, 1 bottom) little metal plates.
Removal is as easy as unlatching it on the bottom, picking it up from the top via a ladder and setting it down.
Therefore, basically hassle free if you need to repaint or something. The whole structure is pretty light for 2 people.

As for the picture, they are fine. I can't really speak to the screen specs because I just needed something that works. I have zero complaints. The deep black velvet on the frame helps a lot with getting the projection aligned.
I would buy these again. The price is just superb.

[16:9] Great quality and look! It's a bit tricky to put together, but once it's up it's a gem

[16:9] I was surprised at how easily it assembled and how tight and flat the surface is ( not a ripple in it, like my old Da-lite Perm Wall had ). The quality is excellent. And the images from my Epson 5040ub on the screen are brighter, sharper and clearer and the color is more accurate. A great purchase. I tip my hat to Elite and to B& H ( for their great service). Thank you both!

[16:9] Very easy to assemble. For ambient lit rooms, this screen is very very good!

[Frame, Wall] This is my fourth ALR (ambient light reflecting) screen.

The first thing to know is, there are no miracle screens. There are good ALR screens, but none perform miracles. Even the best don't show a great picture in a really bright room. The second thing to know is, don't necessarily believe the promotional pictures and videos from manufacturers that show amazing screen performance. They have positioned the screens, projectors and cameras to show the screens at their very best. You are unlikely to duplicate this in a real world situation.

Almost all ALR screens have, to one extent or another, a major problem – screen artifacts. Shimmering, hot spots, sparkles, grainy appearance and so on. In order to eliminate this problem I have owned four different screens. My newest one, which wasn't available when I first started my quest for better picture quality, the Da-Lite Parallax, has none of these problems. Zero!

The Parallax probably doesn't have quite as good of ambient light rejection properties as some of the other screens, but with some light control and careful placement of light sources, you can still have light in the room and a great picture.

A great artifact free picture is really important now that we have 4K material to watch.
