[0.365 lb] I wanted to try these Kopul DI boxes out because of the low price. I've used them on a few events already and they work great. The only issue I have with it is that the volume knob feels a little cheap and is wobbly but it doesn't crackle during use. When you buy the DI box, it comes in a foam cutout that is cutout exactly the size of the DI box so I use that to protect the Kopul when I have it in my bag. I would've given it 4 stars because of the knob but I give it a pass because of its low price. The best thing I like about it is that because of the way it's designed, you can plug it into a mixer without needing an XLR cable. I'll probably just buy these from now on.

[Solid-State] I often need to hook up a laptop to PA/speaker system, and the Kopul One-Channel Direct Box has been fantastic. I recently used it during an event, and it worked like a charm, solving any potential connectivity issues effortlessly.

What really impressed me is how it converts the signal from your device to a balanced XLR mic-level signal, which means no interference, even if you’re dealing with long cable runs. I used it with both my phone and laptop, and the sound stayed crystal clear, without any of that annoying hum or buzz that you sometimes get with other setups. The ground-lift switch is also a nice feature if I run into a bit of noise. Just flipping the switch clears it right up.

Another bonus is that it doesn’t need a battery or external power. You just plug in and go. The volume knob is also a really nice touch, letting you adjust your levels without any hassle. And for something so compact—seriously, it’s small enough to fit in your pocket—it feels solid. The sturdy aluminum case gives me peace of mind that it’ll last for the long haul.

Whether you're using it for gigs, presentations, or any event where you need to send a clean signal from your device to a sound system, this direct box just makes the whole process easy. Highly recommend it if you’re looking for something reliable and hassle-free. [I have received this item in exchange for my honest review]

[Standard DI] I needed a couple DIs for a show for some basic backline connections. I knew Kopul products were built durable so I thought I'd give these a try. So far, I've been very pleased with both the quality and the price. I've not tried them with anything beyond guitars yet, but I have been happy so far.

[Single-Channel] The Kopul LT-PDI Direct Box is a great match for my laptop for when I need to send sound to a PA system.
It takes the unbalanced signal and converts it to a balanced mono-mic level signal.
I have something similar that I was using but would sometimes get interference, this solves that problem. It's built well and doesn't require a battery. The volume knob is a nice touch as well. Overall I'm pleased with this.

[-20 to +0 dB] This DI is great for our application of connecting a projector or PC to a Mixer. We use this in our House of Worship for watching videos played on a PC with HDMI to a projector. To provide a clean audio signal we use the Kopul DI and connect the projector or PC 3.5mm out to the 1/4 input on the DI. We connect the XLR to our stage jack which takes the signal to the Mixer XLR input. Without the DI there is a loud 60Hz hum. By pressing in the ground lift button it effectively removes the hum and we have a clean audio signal from our projector or PC to the mixer. Note we use the 0db attenuator switch. The device is well constructed and works great for our application.
