The PMU50 Quick Release Plate from MeFOTO is an Arca-type compatible 50mm long plate. It is included with the Backpacker and Roadtrip tripods, and can be used as a spare or replacement. It can also be used with most Arca-type compatible tripod heads.

A: The MeFoto quick release plate PMU50BLK will work with the Q2 head on your Globetrotter. It is an appropriate plate for a Canon T5i. The plate is an Acra style design. The quick release system on the Q2 head is also Arca style, so almost all Arca style plates will fit.

If you are looking for a dedicated Arca-type quick release plate for the X-Pro3, B&H # ACQRPZ6Z7FTZ is recommended for your usage needs.

[0.115 lb] I bought this quick release plate to keep on my Opticron Spotting Scope. I had an old tripod, but it didn’t have a ball head and it made following birds pretty difficult. I installed this plate on the scope and it stays there. I have the original plate that came with the tripod on my camera. Additionally this provides me with a spare if I’m on a trip and I should have an emergency. This is my first purchase with B & H and I couldn’t be happier. The price is competitive and the shipping was free. The plate came with a locking wrench to make for an easy install on the scope. The tripod didn’t include a wrench. I thought I had the plate tightly attached to the camera and when I got the wrench with the plate, I tried the camera and it took a couple of turns to fully tighten. Expensive equipment can fall off the tripod if the plate comes loose. Make sure you use the wrench. Love the mePhoto Tropod with quick release plate and ball head. 5

[0.115 lb] Attaches easily. It looks and fits like the original that came with the MeFoto tripod. The original became loose; I didn't attend to it and it came off when I was engrossed in shooting (hand-held). Impossible to find at the beach. 5
