[Spiked] While I have not had a chance to use it extensively, It is very light, and easy to set up. Strong enough to carry the weight of NIKON Z9, converter ring and a 300mm telephoto lens.

[Yes] Love that it is so compact and versatile. Great for traveling.
Using it for my telescope and sometimes I use the monopod with my camera. Wonderful recommendation from the staff at B&H.

[Spiked] I have had an old, heavy, low tech aluminum Manfrotto tripod for decades. In fact, I think it has a Bogen sticker from before the name change. I finally got the bright idea to splurge on a new tripod ahead of a Yellowstone trip this May. Spent tons of time watching tripod reviews and finally settled on the Benro Rhino. There is always a trade off between between portability and sturdiness/load capacity, and the Benro hits the mark. The carbon fiber makes it both lightweight and sturdy and it has no problem with my Canon r5 and L series 70-200 lens. The Benro folds up more compactly, but is taller (62) than my old tripod. It allows good low angle shooting for either macro or landscapes. It's lightweight, sturdy, and quick to deploy, with nicely textured friction collars on each leg. The ballhead is smooth and easy to adjust and shows no sign of drifting with a full size camera rig. One of the legs detaches to convert to a monopod which I intend to use for wildlife action. And the gray/black finish is very cool looking and is muted enough that it won't startle the animals away like some of the electric-colored 3 Legged Things and other brands.

[3/8"-16 Male] My first real tripod was a Benro Travel Angel and I've been loyal since. I've had the travel angel for 11+ years and it was time for an upgrade. I have a Benro Mach 3 and love it but I wanted something more portable friendly. After reviewing the many series that Benro offers I decided on the Rhino because of it's focus on stability and portability. It was on sale so I got a deal and B&H packed it well and shipped very fast. And, with PayBoo I saved the tax. :-)

[3/8"-16 Male] Recently acquired a spotting scope and needed a more secure base. This tripod has all the features I needed including secure feel and multi-options for set up.

[Carbon Fiber] Appears to be every bit as well designed and built as the big $ brands. Stacks up to high-end equipment shockingly well in all categories I can think of. Like most of the other folks who bought this, I got it on a sale. However, at it's retail price it's still an excellent value compared to comparable offerings from other companies. I've been very happy overall with Benro products over the years (my tripods are exclusively Benros at this point), though I can't say whether they'll stand the test of time like a Gitzo or RRS might (in regard to things like retaining bolt tightness for the leg hinges).

[3.835 lb] I was deadset about getting at Peak Design tripod when Heading to B&H. But after seeing how flimsy it was, I would never want to shoot with my R5 with it; I was then shown this tripod and a couple of others. But what stood out was the quality, the tension rings have a snap to them, so you know when they are lose, or tightened. Which is better than my Gitzo, which has a similar mechanism. The monopod feather is great. I will likely never use it, but what it does do is allow you to remove a leg. From there, you can make the tripod's profile smaller. I also removed the ball head and then pack that in my carry on with my clothes. The other two legs are attached to my carry-on camera bag. Works pretty good.

Buy it.

[4] Very solid and well built. This tripod is much more robust than my other travel tripod, so it will not be on any long hikes because of its weight. It is more weighty than I expected, but that is my choice, not a flaw. There are more options available than I typically use, but one cannot complain about have too many, rather than too few, options.

[Carbon Fiber] Great travel tripod, incredibly sturdy and every bit able to be a backup for my much bigger equipment. It folds up small, has several nice features and is lighter, yet sturdier than my previous tripod. My only complaint is that this comes bundled with a tripod head that I neither needed or wanted, but these legs are not available separately.

[3/8"-16 Male] I wanted a tripod that I could take on a trip to arctic and I wanted something to be light and sturdy and after trying more than 10 tripods I ended up with this Benro Rhino which I have to tell you was great. If you are looking for a nice size and light weight tripod then look no further.
