A: No, and I don't understand why you would want to do that. Better to rest your lens directly on the bean bag, or use the pod upright on top of the bean bag so you still get the cushion but can slide a bit if you need to for better positioning. I used the pod effectively from the top of a safari vehicle in northern Tanzania, usually resting on a bean bag.
