[Yes] Works well. Only slightly annoying is the KVM causes a new audio device message to pop up every few minutes. Silenced the message problem solved.

[4] I used this for a tight environment where a server was right up close with a video-camera monitoring system. This device makes it really easy to leave the cameras up, and just switch over to the server when I need to work on it. The small remote-button can be placed where it's convenient, instead of having to figure out how to get the KVM itself to be placed where it's reachable. I've bought several of these, over the past few years, and am always happy with them.

[4] I have been using a pair of these for two 1K monitors switching between Windows (at first W7 and now W10) and Linux (Kubuntu) for several years now. I have never had much of a problem with them. I have always used a wired keyboard with them which suits my needs since I use it on a desktop. I have also always used a Logitech M510 wireless mouse with them and that worked perfectly, including forward/back side buttons which I use frequently in Linux to switch between virtual desktops. I have never had to touch the settings in the KVM, which means mouse emulation has always been on.


However, one of them died, sort of. It got worse and worse. I think they must have some kind of low power processor in them that deals with them mouse emulation and keyboard functions. I could no longer communicate with it via the keyboard nor did my scroll wheel or side buttons work on the mouse. Intermittently at first, but permanently at the end. I switched the KM part of the KVM to the other one which still worked fine.


I had trouble finding a replacement at some of the other big sites where you might expect to get them, but was happy to see the B&H had them in stock. And, as usual the shipping was prompt. The replacement works perfectly. I expect to get another bunch of years of service from it.

[AC Adapter] I have installed several IOGEAR KVM units. My favorite feature is the button to switch between systems. It is easy to install and operate and is quite reliable.

[4] The IOGEAR KVM works flawlessly with my 2 PCs. One PC has the DisplayPort, while the other has the HDMI port. The included KVM/DisplayPort makes connecting the 2 PCs so easy. It's particularly handy with the remote to switch PC. The remote with more than enough wire to mount very conveniently near my keyboard.

[4] The KVM works great.  Includes mic and audio switching.  I had trouble with a wireless single dongle mouse keyboard with older versions, but it worked perfectly here.

[AC Adapter] I have this switch set up to allow me to switch between a Retina MacBook Pro and my tower gaming PC with Nvidia GTX 1070 graphics card, and it performs the job very well. Previously I had a similar setup using an IOGear DVI+USB KVM switch between MacBook Pro and my older tower PC, with just a DVI-to-DisplayPort adapter on the video cable to the Mac. For the new setup I bought a DisplayPort-to-mini-DisplayPort cable for the Mac (could have used an adapter but the cable was $10 and it's less... lumpy... this way.) I've only been using it for a week or so, but it's working great! Comes with all cables, which seem to be solid quality, and fully bus-powered - small and light but seems well made. The older IOGear DVI+USB2 switch wasn't as expensive as this when it was new, but I guess that's the price I pay for going 4K. I did my usual research on all available DisplayPort + USB switch options before selecting this one, and I'm pretty sure I made the right choice here. If you're trying to drive a 2K or 4K monitor from two DisplayPort-equipped machines and share a mouse and keyboard between them, this is the ticket.
