Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Does this extender does the glass on Canon's RF 100-500 when zoomed out to 300mm?

A: While I do not quite understand the question due to the way it is worded, when using the Canon Extender RF 2x, the Canon RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1L IS USM Lens can only be operated within the 300-500mm focal length range. Before attaching the 2x Extender, use the lens' zoom ring to set the focusing distance between 300mm and 500mm, then attach the extender to the lens. The lens may then be attached to the camera. Attaching the extender forcibly with the focusing distance set between 100mm to 300mm may result in malfunctions or other damage.

Q: 2. Do you get the same data speed as if connecting the ethernet directly to the router?

A: The Netgear PLP2000 Powerline 2000 Network Extender Kit will have two Gigabit Ethernet ports. So you should get close to speeds as if you were connecting directly to the router.

Q: 3. What color Gamut does it support, and to what percentage?

A: The Desview R7SIII 7" Ultra-High Bright 1080p Touchscreen Monitor with 4K60 HDMI/3G-SDI I/O covers 100% DCI-P3 coverage. However, Desview does not provide a calibration report with the display.

Q: 4. Does either one of the two 2x TC config work? 1] R5 -2x (rf) - RF/EF adapter - 100/400 II (ef) 2] R5-RF/EF Adapter-2x TC (EF) - 100/400 II(EF)

A: The EF-to-RF adapter doesn't properly mount to the RF-teleconverters due to the optical tube. You'll need to use option 2.

Q: 5. Can it be expanded to 4 or 5 cameras?

A: Yes, you can connect the additional camera to the network switch.

Q: 6. Does this include the micro sd card?

A: No it doesn't include any SD card. but there is a slot for SD card

Q: 7. Will this software work on an iMac?

A: Unfortunately it will not. The software for the Celestron 44316 is compatible with operating systems Windows XP or Later.

Q: 8. Whats the lowest Fstop on Canon's 100-500 RF when used with 2x extender or the 1.4 when zoomed out?

A: The widest aperture on the Canon RF 100-500mm f/4.5-7.1 L IS USM Lens with the Canon Extender RF 2x attached is f/8.5 at the wide end of the zoom and f/15.1 at the telephoto end of the zoom. This is because you lose two stops with the Canon Extender RF 2x.

Q: 9. Will this work with a Sony RM-BR300 controller?

A: Yes, you will be able to wire out the RM-BR300 to work with this camera.

Q: 10. Does the 4K upgrade change this camera's crop factor?

A: The 4K upgrade does not change the camera's crop factor.

[1.24 lb] Utilized the extenders for a remote AV rack to Sony projector. The install was fast, simple and they linked right up and were working immediately. I can't review longevity yet, but so far I am satisfied!

[HDMI: 8-Channel] This extender was a true plug and play! I have an NVR 120' away from my monitor and this unit did the trick hooking up my mouse to control the NVR...

[HDMI: 8-Channel] Replaced another manufacturer's HDMI over CAT6 extender which was intermittently dropping the HDMI handshake and which did not have the loop-through output needed to feed a new 3 to 1 switch added to our projection system at church. CAT 6 run from transmitter to receiver is about 150'. The replaced unit cost over 4 times that of the Ocean Matrix 1080p HDMI Extender. Not a single drop out in 3 weeks of operation! Only minor disadvantage of the Ocean Matrix unit is the requirement of providing power at both transmitter and receiver whereas the other manufacturer's units needed power at only one end.

[1x RJ45] I have purchased a number of these and they always work great. No need to spend more if your project fits within the specs of this kit.

[1.24 lb] Replaced defective HDMI cables with this unit. Luckily we had CAT 5e cable pre-wired. I called Neuvideo and they said that this splitter would work well with CAT 5 cable with the relatively short distances that we have (~30 feet). We have it connected to Cox Countour box and LG OLED TVs. Also called Neuvideo customer service to address the correct EDID setting for our service. Both times, spoke with a live person who answered the questions and solved the problems. It's been working for a couple of weeks. Seems well constructed and hope it remains durable and reliable.

[1x RJ45] I got this for our church because we needed to send the information from our PC to three screens - 1 local, 2 displays. We already had CAT7 deployed between the machines. The included dip-switch chart got us up and running in no time flat. It's been a month, and we haven't had any issues at all

[HDMI: 8-Channel] This is quite a good deal on a 164' HDMI over CAT solution. It worked for me without any issues and seems to be well built. I will be purchasing more.

[HDMI: 8-Channel] I have 3 of these in the theater I operate, and have had zero problems in the 2 years I've had them. Competing brands I've had would randomly drop sync, and were hard to get to connect. With this one, just plug in the receiver end, then the transmitter end (+ power), and it just connects! I've yet to have one of these drop signal, or even glitch due to sync loss. It's a solid unit at a fantastic price.
