Recommended for engineers seeking a punchy preamp with plenty of warmth on low frequencies, the RE-VR Cartridge from GC Audio is a preamp module designed exclusively for the Inherit Modular Preamp System. Designed as a reissue of the preamp in a famous British mixing console from the '80s, the RE-VR cartridge features plenty of improvements for the best possible results in modern recording scenarios.

When loaded into an Inherit chassis, the RE-VR provides a -20 dB attenuation pad for reining in overly hot signals. The combination of a low-noise op-amp and a fully rebuilt TF10015 transformer with identical specs to the original provides exceptionally low distortion. Finally, the PCB features a carefully selected routing path for the most efficient signaling possible with this design.

Q: 1. how do I install my PP999 as it came with no instructions?

A: Connect your turntable to the PP999 inputs and connect the PP999 outputs to a line level input on your receiver or amplifier.

Q: 2. does this unit (PP444)come with power transfer for $13.78?

A: Yes

Q: 3. Can I plug this camcorder into my PC with the USB port and download videos?

A: I think you can I usually just take the card out and put it in the card reader on my computer great little camera

Q: 4. Do this devise will work with Sanken COS-11D XLR conector wired. To connect to Sennheiser G3 wireless system?.I will like to use my wired Sanken for wireless too, do this is possible?

A: This device has the special female mic connector (1/8 locking) for Sennheiser lavelier mics that are normally used with the G3 wireless system. It converts only those mics so they may be used with standard XLR mic cables. So this device has a male XLR connector that plugs into a standard mixer mic input. It is not suitable for connecting other kinds of mics with XLR connectors.

Q: 5. I have a TRAM TR-50 lav mic that is made to use with the Senn EW100 G3 system. I have teh Senn ME2 as well that came with the G3 kit. I would like to be able to use both the TR-50 and the ME2 wired to my SD-302. Since the TR-50 is wired to work with the G3 I assume this would work to use it wired (in lieu of the TRAM TR 79+ unit for the same purpose). Can anyone who as ACTUALLY done this confirm that it will work? I too assume it will, but would like to hear from someone who has actually done it if at all possible. Thanks!

A: I know it doesnt work with my Countryman B3. I think it is tuned for the ME2. It clips and distorts with my Countryman. It is possible if the TRAM is similar sensitivity as ME2.

Q: 6. What are the interior and exterior dimensions of the GC-11? PentaxRumors shows pic where GC-9 will just barely fit the GR iii, so I wonder if the GC-11 is thick enough for the Sony RX100 III, which is 4 x 2.37 x 1.63"?

A: the Ricoh GC-11 Soft Case is designed to hold the Ricoh GR III and Ricoh GR IIIx Digital Cameras. The larger GR IIIx which is a tighter fit in the case is 4.3 x 2.4 x 1.4". With the Sony Cyber-shot DSC-RX100 III Digital Camera being a thicker camera at a bit over 1.6" in depth, this case would not be a good fit.

Q: 7. Will this fit the GR II?

A: Yes.

Q: 8. How is this product different than the Rode VXLR+ ? Voltage ? Impedance ?

A: The Rode VXLR Plus does not provide the same voltage that the Sennheiser provides. The Rode does 3-5v. For example: the Sennheiser ME 2 requires 7.5v. The Rode VXLR Plus would not supply that voltage.

Q: 9. Could this device work with the Sanken COS-11D Omni Lavalier Mic(B&H # SAC11WNSETRB MFR # SAN-11DWNBKTRSE)? Thanks Renzo

A: MZA-900P is listed for compatibility with Sennheiser E 908B, E 908D, HSP 2, HSP 4, ME 2, ME 3, ME 4 and MKE 2 EW Gold microphones. We offer this model for the Sanken COS-11D with the 3.5mm connector for Sennheiser transmitters: B&H # AMEMP3.5

Q: 10. Can you mount this in a vehicle and use the vehicles cigarette lighter adapter as a power source?

A: This camera cannot be run off any other power source. Battery only.

[-20 dB] So, I was on the fence about buying one these because I'd never actually owned a quality standalone preamp before and I thought the preamps on my apollo twin were already pretty good (which of course they are), but after reading through the reviews for this beast extolling it's sound I thought I'd take a chance. Man oh man am I glad that I did. Everything sounds so warm, smooth, and detailed now that I barely have to EQ my vocals. The noise floor is incredibly low and contrary to a few reviews I've read, I get plenty of headroom to work with. I really couldn't be happier with this purchase, so if you find yourself in a similar situation to where I was, I suggest just going for it.

[-20 dB] Because of the pandemic, I have not been able to go to the music store to listen to and purchase studio monitors. I have been doing all of my music editing using Sennheiser HD 289 Pro headphones. This Blue Cat Audio software/VST has been very useful in helping me better understand what is going on in my recording.

[1.4 Kilohms] Used this for vocals and it makes a really big difference in quality than just direct through an interface. Can't wait to try this on other instruments.

[Metal] This thing is AMAZING! Best investment I've made for my studio. I use an AKG 414B XLS-II and run it through this baby. The tone beast gives it a certain brightness for crisp vocals, but also allows for warmth as well depending on which setting you choose. Run your mic through the front or back, or both if you have 2. A great mic needs a great pre...and this is just the pre for the job.

[Orange] I use a Neumann TLM 103 and the Tone Beast gives it a special touch. It warms it up and gives it a smoothness! . Love it!

[-20 dB] I read a lot of reviews of this preamp which complained about the lack of headroom and tendency to distort the signal easily, producing a wooly, dark, or muddy tone. If you are looking for a clean, all-purpose preamp with very little character then this is not what you are looking for. However, if you are after a warm, dreamy tube-driven sound then this is a great low-price preamp to add to your arsenal. It's become my favorite preamp for a classic acoustic guitar tone paired with a beyer ribbon mic-- beautiful warm, woody sound with a little gentle tube compression. Happiest I've ever been with an acoustic guitar.

[-20 dB] This EQ has a lot of character and you will hear it very quickly even with very small adjustments. I've been using it very successfully on vocals along with the dbx560A compressor. Not a subtle, surgical, EQ. It definitely adds harmonic richness.

[Metal] This unit sounds amazing, I use it on vocals and set the EQ just enough to add some color on the highs. But this unit is definitely staying in the studio.

[Orange] About 6 months ago I used a couple of these to run an audio feed from the house system in a restaurant to the DJ booth that they had located on a seperate floor and vice versa (for some reason they wanted to pump the DJ into the main dining room). I ran this over roughly 100 ft of CAT-5 with no audible signal loss or degradation. This is exactly what you want for those long audio feeds from a stereo RCA source.
