Generate warm, textured, and organic sounds with the intellijel Bifold, a Eurorack module that combines two unique wavefolders with a crossfader and multiple routing options. The Bifold can produce incredibly complex timbres out of a simple sound source or waveform.

Bifold offers ring modulation, blending, crossfading, complex noise generation, feedback modulation, cascaded folding, and so much more thanks to the strategically placed routing switches, jack normals, attenuators, and other control options. This is a module that invites much exploration and discovery and pairs well with almost any kind of modulation and sound source. Bifold ships with a power ribbon cable.

Bifold is a dual-channel wavefolder, where one channel (the P channel) has a sonic characteristic inspired by the Buchla-style Parallel Deadband folding circuit, while the other channel (the S channel) is more characteristic of a Serge-type Serial folding circuit.
Besides offering two unique flavors of wavefolding, Bifold features numerous feedback and routing options along with CV control, enabling you to mix, blend, and crossfade those flavors into a rich stew of unique waveforms and harmonic movement.

A: No, the receiver output cables are not included with the wireless system. The receiver has individual 1/4" TS outputs for each of the channels and a single XLR output that sends a combined signal with the audio from both microphones. [5.4 x 4 x 2.3"] Great keyboard, works as intended - and a good amount of options under the hood. Will your keyboard be a bit messier looking? Sure..but a really cool way to customize exactly what you want your perfect 4-voice poly/paraphonic instrument to do. And yes you can go beyond 4 voices using its midi outputs. All in all a pretty cool way to incorporate a case and keyboard in one. 5

[Eurorack Module] I preordered the VL2 based purely on my enjoyment of Pittsburgh's previous Taiga synth. The VL2 is a completely blank slate for you to dive in, experiment and tweak/build to your hearts desire. The new waveform/folding options are deep and the sequencer on this system is amazing. Create anything from polyrhythms and percussives to full on melodic arrangements, all complete with chance/scanning/scrubbing/fills/slides etc. The middle blue row (shared by both sequencers) is a terrific idea that opens up your modulation options in really fun ways that you may not fully realize until you get your hands on the system. Florist chorus/reverb and a longer delay (than the Taiga) are welcome effect additions to add flavor to any arrangement. I LOVE this synth. It's big, it's easy to touch and play and it sounds amazing. They nailed it once again. 5

[8 HP] It’s not an eight-voice polysynth with presets. But it truly is a system dedicated to exploring how analog modules can interact, and the sequencer is powerful. It’s a very good first Eurorack system, but also a very natural central unit for controlling and interacting with other modular gear. You can absolutely make interesting bass lines and melodies with this thing in the first few hours but my guess is I’ll be fiddling with it for years. I’m a fan. It’s what you make of it, but you can make a lot. 5
