The Bluefish444 Epoch 4K Supernova S+ Video Cardis a PCIe I/O card with four bi-directional BNC connectors that accept 3G/HD/SD-SDI and ASI signals. However its full functionality will depend on the specs of your computer more so than the connection. MacBook Pros tend to be powerful machines, even when they are a few years old, so I do not think there will be any issues.
