A: I added a small black sewing button (bottom side up) to the shutter button with a bit of adhesive. This raised the shutter release enough to avoid missing shots and to aid AF by half-way pressing down the shutter release.

They are designed and fabrictated to exact button and dial and screen locations on the cameras.
