[0.125 lb] I've owned a few matte boxes and rented even more. The Wooden Camera UMB-1 is by far my favorite, the weight is good, it expands to suite your needs and all of the added rails are probably the best added feature. Like all Wooden Camera gear you know it will last and evolve across different platforms. I'd give it 10 stars if I could.

[0.125 lb] Although this only arrived about a couple of weeks ago, I don't know how I ever survived without it! The design and manufacturing quality are superb, as is the completeness of the kit. I also bought the Pelican case in which the cut foam packing of the kit fits perfectly, so I am able to transport the kit safely. I could not be happier! I use the product with a Sony FS7, which it fits perfectly. All I needed to do was to ensure I had a good range of 15mm rod lengths so I can use the matte box with ALL my lenses. FYI, the majority of my lenses (Sony 28-135mm, several of my Nikkors and my Xeen lenses) need 8in. rods. I admit that I haven't owned equivalent matte boxes from other manufacturers, but seriously doubt that this kit is rivalled by anything on the market in its price range.

[Connector] For the price there is nothing better. Solid construction, modular design. This does everything you'd want and can handle the rigors of on set use and abuse.

[0.125 lb] First camera cage system from BT and it's awesome. I bought the original Kasbah system alongside the Misfit kick back in the day and was impressed by the functionality, quality, and their efforts to keep things light weight while still strong/solid. When it came time to get a cage for the Burano, I knew I wanted to try BT over the other options that were first to market apon its launch. The side rails connecting top and bottom inspire confidence for mounting things pretty much anywhere on the rig. The sliding top plate is slick, I'm getting another one for quick swaps to my movi alongside a BUD plate for the bottom. The D handle is solid and comfy. Paired with my Kasbah shoulder rig, its the quickest to build and comfiest to shoulder all day compared to other systems I've tried/built in my AC days. You won't regret it! Also the customer service is TOP with BT. They just called me within 15 mins to get clarification on a support email I sent regarding plate compatibility. Who does that these days?!

[Connector] It works well for allowing multiple connection types on the Komodo. Particularly very useful with Tentacle Syncs.

[Connector] Matte boxes are a funny thing... you definitely need them and they're definitely expensive. I test drove a few, ranging in price and landed on Wooden's. It fulfills all my needs. It's lightweight, durable, really ergonomically sound, and most importantly, fits my old vintage lens which has a super large lens diameter. Not many matte boxes fit the older, larger vintage lenses and this one did. I love the swing away arm and the filter trays are great.

[0.125 lb] This matte box is worth every penny. You may be thinking “it’s just a matte box why spend that amount of money on something basic”. The reason id edge you in this direction is the quality of Arri products at a industry cheep price. The stages feel nice when slid into place and also feel secure. The customization is great because you can build as budget comes in. It’s durable and adjustable. Wooden is a great company and their products have always treated me well.

[0.125 lb] Does exactly what you need it to do. & It’s not the most expensive accessory which is nice because you don’t really have any other options. :)
