A: Mine was the same and the new adaptor works fine. The amp rating is the amount of power that can be drawn, so to have a little more than you need is OK.

A: That is an Atlas Boom it does not have locking wheels. It is used primarily for used for vocal and string recording.

A: no the 2 halves of the batter have to be together for the battery to function

A: As long as the outside dimensions of the slides are not larger than 2 inches by 2 inches, the Logan box will accommodate cardboard, plastic or metal mounts. I use Logan boxes to store all three of these slide types.
