The DSAN Network Extender is an IP address-configurable adapter that allows multi-point control and display of countdown time from Limitimer, DSAN's speaker timer system. Two units are required for operation and therefore a minimum of two units must be purchased. A setup with two allows you to distribute Limitimer time data over a network, useful for video conferencing and simultaneous session meetings. Use one unit to convert the timer's data signal into a TCP protocol, and use a second one anywhere on the LAN or WAN to capture the TCP data and convert it back to the Limitimer format to drive any connected signal light.

With DSAN's configuration software, you may configure the adapter as a server or client, give it a specific IP address, or receive an IP address via DHCP from the local router. The gateway and network mask can also be set to reach outside of the LAN, and the client can be configured to reach a specific server-configured extender on a network port. A companion application harnesses a PC's processing power to act as a server for hundreds of client signal lights.

A: Unfortunately no, the Beseler Digital Darkroom Timer does not have a foot switch option.

A: To do such, you will need a focal reducer, not an extender and it will likely need to be fabricated to do this.

A: On the Yamaha YVC-1000 Unified Communications Microphone and Speaker System, the added microphones are connected via an Ethernet type connection from one microphone to the other.

A: The audio quality would be the same for the aux input or RCA inputs.

Q: 8. Is there any way to tone down the volume? Even on 2 it is very loud

A: Yes, it's a pain the @$$. For Windows 10 1. Speaker icon on bottom right - Right click - Open Sound Setting 2. In the middle column - Advanced sound options -App volume and preferences 3. Lower the volume on the App that is too high.

Q: 9. Why you do not sell connection cables form speaker system to microphone? This is unique if will break and could prevent to use whole system. How I can order replacement cords ( i need to have about two additional such cables ) for my six Yamaha systems?

[1.42 lb] It's affordable and does its job well. The ground lift works beautifully and I like it that it gives you 2 channel XLR output. The additional headphone monitor output jack is a blessing. Worth the buy for me. 5

[1.42 lb] This product works well for repeating our WiFi signal to an opposite corner and floor of our two-story 2100sf brick home. Capable of handling 500mbps video game play (Xbox), mostly plug-and-play though we did have one of the units lose signal (replaced under warranty by NETGEAR). Will buy again if that day comes and technology still useful. 5
