$297.00 $409.86

Available for download, Arturia's Delay BRIGADE offers the sound of a bucket-brigade device in a plug-in form factor. This pedal takes its cues from the Memory Man, a classic vintage pedal that was beloved for its dark, filtered sound that distinguished itself from tape delays of the era. Now you can get this beloved lo-fi sound in your DAW for mixing and production applications.

The plug-in uses Arturia's TAE and Phi modeling techniques to analyze and reconstruct classic BBD circuits. It offers vibrato and EQ modualtion to customize the sound to your liking, and you can make use of chorusing to further tweak the tone. Drive it hard for vintage warmth, or use it subtly in your own creations.

Shape the input with low-pass, high-pass, and peak filters, and modulate it all with an LFO with 16 possible destinations. If rhythmic effects are your fancy, you can make use of an envelope follower for dynamic modulations.

The plug-in offers extensive presets, as well as built-in tutorials to get you up and running in no time at all. This plug-in is compatible with Mac and Windows operating systems. It will work in the AU, VST2, VST3, NKS, and AAX Native formats.

A: In order to assist you it would be helpful to know which transmitter you are using with the AVX EKP receiver. There are two options -- the Sennheiser SK AVX Digital Bodypack Transmitter - 1.9 GHz (B&H # SESKAVX4) and Sennheiser SKM AVX-835S Digital Handheld Microphone Transmitter - 1.9 GHz (B&H # SESKMAVX8354). The receiver and transmitter must both be powered on and within line of sight of each other in order to pair them. The transmitter and receiver need to be within close proximity and able to "see" each other during setup. Please be aware that other Sennheiser transmitters like those from the Evolution series or the XS series (which operate on the UHF band) or XSW-D series (which operates on the 2.4 GHz band) are not compatible for use with the AVX series receiver. [1 User] Keyboard is shrunken but playable synth-action with velocity and after-touch to work out your music. The 64-step, 8-note sequencer lets you do some complicated things already, not just dance beats. It’s sturdy built and stays put nicely. Knobs and pads are firm to touch.

Actually got the BeatStep first but realized that’s more for DJ’s. Thought I’d miss the knobs but I play with one hand and the other using the mouse works fine to tweak the sound. The sequencer here also excels, worth it alone. Merchandise exchange with B&H no problem, thanks.

Quality product, check it out if it works for you.

[Download] The sound is very clear. No coloring. This is by far the best delay I've had and the others I've owned don't macth on any point... (Ibanez AD-9, Boss DD-7) It's a bit expensive but worth it. It's simple to use, very nice and offers a lot for the money. The sound is absolutely incredible. The USB port offers the capability of upgrading the presets and firmware. This pedal evolves so it doesn't get outdated. Eventide have a nive web support and pdf files and programs. You can organize the presets with a free application on their site. So many features - impossible to list.

[Download] After searching for weeks for the right delay I finally settled on the timefactor and could not be happier. I use it 2 ways, as the last effect on my pedalboard with stereo INS and stereo outs feeding two amps and from the send to the return of each of two amps. The timefactor works great in both uses. The ability to choose the mix of both dry and delay is great. The ability to use two seperate delay lines is like having two delay lines in one. I also like the three options for bypass type allowing you to use the peal as a buffer in your chain or going full true bypass. For the money this is one of the most versatile units available, and with the quality of eventide behind it, you cannot go wrong.

[Download] Simple good value. I like that all Arturia Microfreak had the hidden Vocoder capability and this mic (with the headphone out ) enables it elegantly.

I'd tend complain that as an accessory it wasn't included with the Microfreak but when Arturia priced it affordably (in contrast to teenage engineering accessories) and gave us the new Vocoder feature as a firmware add then it's really a gift. Love Arturia.

[Download] First of all: I ordered it on B&H and arrived the next day, free shipping!!! Wow! The Arturia Keystep is tremendously versatile and powerful controller. Everything is done right here! Plus, it's built very well!!! If you have hardware/software synths, a good computer (or two), a couple of iPads latest generations, buy it and you'll be more than satisfied! I use mine through Roland Juno-G, Roland GR-20, various laptops, iPads, iMac -- triggering lots of software, and I have to tell you that I can't stop using it! Don't forget one very important thing: it has a conventional MIDI IN/OUT, plus the USB, which also sends MIDI. Look around and try to find out how many controllers offer that sort of versatility?!? And for that price!!!???

Two things I have to figure out: how to save parameters from the Midi Control Center to the Keystep, and if I can plug it in into a battery (RAV) and only send the MIDI to an iPad, in order not to burn too fast through the iPad's battery. Other than that, look at the title of this post!!!

[1 User] I was looking for something smaller than my full size Emu Xboard 61 but bigger than my Keith M illen K-Board and this is definitely it. The keys aren't mini-keys, they're slimkeys with velocity and channel aftertouch that feel more like the excellent feel of the Emu Xboard 61 instead of the rubber drumpad-like keys on the K-board. There's no pitchbend/mod wheel, instead there's two capactive touch strips that are very responsive. I'll use the KeyStep primarily with the USB connection, but it also has mod, gate, pitch and sync outputs (and sync in) if I want to connect to modular analog gear. In addition to the USB MIDI connection there are DIN MIDI in and out and a sustain pedal input that automatically senses the polarity of your sustain pedal. The majorly cool features though, are the polyphonic step sequencer and the arpeggiator. Pretty amazing that this stuff is included at all at this price, and they are by no means an after thought. It wasn't that long ago that just the step sequencer functionality would set you back hundreds of dollars if you bought a separate step sequencer. The KeyStep combines this and versatile I/O along with a great feeling keybed for less than $120.

[1 User] The Korg Monotron Delay is a very immediate and fun sound design machine and processor. What's especially unique about it is that the filter comes after the delay. You can process incoming audio or the oscillator and control the tone of the repeats with the onboard filter, which is taken from the MS20 synth and is a personal favorite of mine. There is no resonance control to the filter but it's set at a very tasty level. This makes for a very creative sonic landscape. The internal oscillator is a saw waveform and can be modulated with either a triangle or a square LFO. Matched with the delay, this delivers some very spacey and interesting sounds. I would say the Monotron Delay is best suited for external processing and making samples. The ribbon controller doesn't offer any precise control and to get a precise pitch is pretty difficult. The ribbon controller offers continuous control of pitch, so sweeps are possible by running your finger up or down the ribbon. I used mine to make a sample library, incorporating the delay in my sound design as the layering of repeats with the filter and the modulation of the LFO makes for some pretty large sounds. I really like how fast the LFO goes. It goes into the audio range for analog-FM style tones. The real magic of this synth comes with the automation of the parameters, delivering hands on motion to otherwise static sounds. A vast array of sonic textures can VERY easily be coaxed out of this with little prior experience. The Monotron Delay delivers wild sonic textures that are at home in any electronic music track looking for something to give it some grimy analog grit.

[1 User] I bought a Keystep to go with a Behringer Model D and Neutron I bought. When I was looking and listening to demos of the two synths above I noticed a lot of people using the Keystep. So I researched it and decided to give it a try. Glad I did. It's hard to beat for the price and features.

Keyboard feels pretty good for what it is. Very slightly spongy until you get used to it. It's not going to feel like a synth action keybed in larger keyboards or even an Alesis Micron but not far from the Micron's keyboard. Feels like my Yamaha CS01's keys. It's very playable.

The sequencer section and arpeggiator section are perfect for what they are meant for and do. Great for driving monophonic synth modules and it will do poly synths too. See specs for more info.

Build quality feels first rate. Metal bottom and plastic top. Knobs are silky smooth, selector knobs are smooth and quiet and illuminated rubber buttons feel good for what they are.

Bottom line is I would highly recommend the Keystep for what it's meant to do. Drive a synth and then some!
