A: Yes, it is. Just manually set your camera's audio to a low setting, and set the mic to a -10 db, and sound check accordingly. The mic records nice, crisp, clean sound, great mic for the price.

Q: 4. I have a Pocketalker & need a better mic. This was rec. on the Talker site @ B&H. Any experience out there?

A: We have not tested it specifically with a Williams Pocketalker, but it should be an improvement.

Q: 5. Can this microphone be used with a Nikon D5000 or a Canon Rebel T3?

A: I have several Nikon cameras with mic sockets and it works with all of them.

[1 Collar Clip] I purchased this as an upgrade to our current shure earset used in our worship center. I think the sound quality and build quality are excellent. No complaints or regrets. I would recommend this to anyone looking at the countryman but wanting to save some money. 5

[Tan/Beige] With a lavalier microphone, recordings of our lectures were somewhat uneven in quality: sound levels were not constant, turning head or looking up produced a more faint result. No news, there, really. But head- or ear- worn microphones had always been too expensive or heavy. I have found this light-weight, unimposing microphone to be a perfect solution. The sound quality is excellent, the hardware convenient. 5

[Tan/Beige] I used this last night at my camera club meeting and everyone could hear me perfectly. I wear hearing aids and it was not a problem. Very comfortable and much better than lavaliere microphones which are unidirectional. 5

[Foam] This mic has excellent sound. We have an AT mic of the same design, and it's a great mic. This one is even a little better and is half the cost. No noise, amazing clarity, and comfortable. Will likely be buying more. 5
