Support heavier lenses with your 15mm LWS rig by attaching the Wooden Camera Universal Lens Support. When connected to a cinema lens's support foot or a still photo lens's tripod collar, the lens support removes the weight stress from the camera's lens mount. Included with this support are 3 screw-on caps: one with a 1/4"-20 screw, a short 3/8"-16 screw, and a taller 3/8"-16 screw. For lenses that don't have a support foot or tripod collar, the included rolling y-bracket can be placed anywhere along the barrel of nearly any lens regardless of diameter. The rubber rollers allow the bracket to be placed on a rotating part of the lens, i.e. the focusing ring.

A: No, the Wooden Camera Universal Lens Support (19mm/15mm Studio) is designed for 19mm and 15mm Studio systems; 15mm LWS is a different standard that uses different spacing, so this will not work with 15mm LWS systems.

[0.32 lb] I am using it with my Dzo Catta Ace zooms that have a thread. I can adjust the height to use this support in any rig I make. Also the U-shaped support allows me to use it with my vintage lenses without a threaded hole. 5

[0.32 lb] This is one of the best and most versatile supports on the market. Managing lens changes and all the ways you have to lock them down to exist in a full cine workflow can be a chore. Having a support that is not only well made but has a design that allows it to be a solid option for both 19 and 15mm rod standards AND having accessories and configurations that allow photo and cine lenses of any size that I have thrown at it, is VERY valuable. 5

[15 mm LWS] There is really not much of a learning curve here. You simply slide the center piece in, slide the whole assembly on your rails, raise the center piece to your desired height and lock it down. That's it. It is sturdy and does not wobble. Being both 19mm and 15mm compatible makes it even more useful and versatile. 5

[15 mm LWS] This is more than twice the price of other supports like the Tilta (which in my opinion looks very similar). The difference is that works with every lens in my kit or that I can imagine renting due to the set of included posts. Everything fits exactly, there are instructional videos for most of their products and their tech support is second to none. 5

[0.32 lb] I use a Sony FX6 and needed lens support that would work with a wide range of lenses.
