A: Yes, 5000 series too. I had the 3600x, was planning on getting the 3900x but got the 5600x instead.

Q: 10. none of my motherboard fan connectors work....those connected to the power supply do work. Anyone know why?

[1] Great PSU for now and the Future While i could have gotten buy with a 850w PSU, the discounted sale price of the rm1000x was a choice which allows my to more easily upgrade my GPU down the road. 5

[ATX 12 V v3.0] I think my intel I-9 chip, and RTX 4090 GPU deserve the controlled power flow this 1000W modular power supply provides. I wanted the best parts on the market when I put together my daughter's PC. This was an excellent choice. The fan is quiet and can go to sleep to conserve power when it's not needed to cool the system. I particularly like the modular cabling. I didn't have to install every SATA connection but only installed the cables I needed. That really helped me with cable management. I comes with the new GPU power cable which is much easier to run and plug in. Bottom line - It's a solid choice. 5
