Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Do you have a method of delaying the audio switch for 500 MS?

A: I'm afraid not within the unit itself. Normal On: 15 us (Fast) 70 ms (Soft) is as long as it gets.

Q: 2. Is this safe to connect to from multiple pre-amped sources? Or will the circuit between preamps close when it switches and fry one of them?

A: This is safe to use when you need to connect and switch from multiple line level audio sources to one audio line level input on a playback device only. Please note this is not intended for use with any audio sources carrying power intended for speakers.

Q: 3. Can I reverse the cable sides like the camera side in the H6 line out and the h6 side into the camera?

A: You can do that but that will not attenuate your signal and defeat the whole purpose of using an attenuation cable.

Q: 4. Please advise the item have stock available now?We looking for 8 pcs.

A: Please email us at sales@a href= http://bhphoto.com target= _blank bhphoto.com/a for assistance with your inquiry.

Q: 5. Is this cable absolutely necessary if connecting the Zoom H6 to the mic input on a Canon EOS SL3 DSLR ?

A: Yes you will need an attenuating cable to adjust the outgoing line level audio signal to the microphone level required by the camera.

Q: 6. Can this be used to amplify a signal over a long speaker cable? I have a 5.1 system installed, but since the left front and left back speakers have longer wires, their signal is lower. My system allows me to boost the signal to these speakers, but it's not enough. I need more signal to these two speakers.

A: The RDL ST-PA6 is designed to connect from a line level device. It is not able to be used in line with speaker level input and output.

Q: 7. Will this device pass phantom power?

A: RDL suggests the RDL STD-150 Divider-Combiner Network, B&H # RDSTD150. This piece will pass phantom power.

Q: 8. Compatible with Canon 70D and Canon T3i?

A: This cable will work with both cameras.

Q: 9. Does it have warranty? If yes, how long?

A: 3 year warranty. You can see it listed in the "In The Box" section on your right-hand side of the Overview Tab.

Q: 10. Which end goes to which? There are no example pictures.

A: The side of the cable that is labeled 'Line-Level' on the Sescom 3.5 mm Line to Mic -25 dB Audio Cable for Zoom H6 (9") would connect to the line-level output on the recorder. The other side is the 'Mic-Level' connector, which would connect to the microphone input on your DSLR camera or camcorder.

[0.44 lb] I was having an issue with a hum/buzz when connecting the camera-out of my Tascam DR-701D recorder to the mic-in of my Panasonic GH4 camera, while syncing both devices via HDMI. I tried a variety of ways to track down and isolate the problem, including a couple of other hum eliminators, but nothing consistently worked. The EZ-HK1, connected between the devices via its stereo mini jacks, solved the problem perfectly. I was also impressed by the overall build quality -- unlike so much stuff these days that's cheaply made, this is a solid, well-designed product that feels like it's going to last. It doesn't have XLR or 1/4 connections (I have other options for those) but for mini-jacks or RCA, it's excellent.

[0.44 lb] I purchased this to use as a mute switch for interfacing a Clearcom matrix intercom panel into our audio system (allows the stage manager to talk into the band’s in ear monitors). This box was exactly what I needed, when given a contact closure the microphone passes out of the “selected output” port and right into our audio console. Do be aware that it needs 24 volts of DC power, so make sure you’ve got an appropriate power adapter.

[0.44 lb] RDL's XLR jacks offer an attractive alternative to locking panel/wall jacks that eventually fail to lock/unlock. The Decora style makes it easy to match with other connectors in their line.

[0.44 lb] This meter is the very best most accurate VU meter I have ever used. It is pre calibrated and requires no adjustment!!! Simply put, I have every VU Meter made and none work as well as this one. It is expensive but worth every penny. It is very well build and compact. My only complaint is really a wish, I would like to have 1/4 TRS connections, however the phoenix connections work fine as well.

[0.44 lb] I am very glad I purchased this converter despite of the higher prices. It performs much better than my existing converter in converting S/PDIF RCA or AES/EBU into Toslink. Sound quality is light and day.

[0.44 lb] This thing does exactly what you want: switching RCA inputs seamlessly. I purchased this in order to toggle between my computer input and modular synthesizer input, which outputs to studio monitors. The knobs feel solid and the case itself is a tank. Very pleased with this product.

[0.44 lb] You'd expect a tiny box to be made of plastic or have no weight and be pulled around by the RCA cables. Nay nay, this switcher box is very well weighted and materials used are quality. And for sound, you hear only what you plug and play through it. No distortion no troubles. Absolute a great product.

[0.44 lb] Works exactly as promised. In our theatre sound system (anchored by a Yamaha CL-1 digital mixing console) sound from any laptop source (we tried three) would be clear until the laptop was also connected to the Barco projector. Once connected, an audible 60Hz hum would be created. It didn't matter if the projector was connected by VGA or HDMI cable, and running the laptop on battery instead of AC also made no difference. Hum Killer to the rescue. Problem solved.
