This network adapter card fits into an available PCIe 3.0 x8 slot. Both slots may be combined with SMB multichannel or port trunking for 20 Gb/s speeds with compatible devices. The adapter has a low-profile bracket attached with a full-height bracket included alongside a specialized bracket for select QNAP devices.

I wish I would have done more research as I ordered the short height but I do have a normal height slot in my Qnap NAS as well. Worked great in the short slot. Easy to install. If you’re looking for easy 10gb in your Qnap NAS I would def recommend. This was the best price and shipping of all the “Certified” Qnap Pcie expansion cards. 10/10 5

[0.61 lb] For those computers that only have spare PCI x1 slots. Works great, increases the network bandwidth. Recommend if possible getting a computer with at least a spare PCI x4 slot and the 10 Gbe version of this card !!! 5

[ PCIe 3.0 x8] With Unraid, its plug and play. Windows and PfSense both need a driver installed prior to functioning. For Windows check the Marvell website for AQtion drivers. For PfSense look up the freebsd aquantia-atlantic-kmod driver. In regards to that not recognized statement. I, at first, had a similar issue; the cards did not get picked up by the system. Cards work well once seated properly. I suspect the brackets are not perfect and hold the card just out of the slot. I bent the top part ever so slightly so it sits properly in the slot. 5
