[Eurorack Power] This is a great little machine I use to record with in my home studio. The A and B patterns are helpful from switching from verse to chorus. Programing takes some effort for the perfection of a song, otherwise the presets sound great. Two variations of drum fills are good and the drum tones sound great, especially once you learn how to tweak them a little bit. The touch sensitive pads are excellent for building up to that climax in a song. Don't forget to order a set of foot pedals, you will need them. I would suggest this machine to anyone who needs a low cost, great sounding, easy to use drum machine.

[Analog] I bought this product for my boyfriend for Christmas to assist him in his song writing. He had heard about it through the music industry and thought it would be the perfect solution to help with holding rhythms and tempos while writing. The machine was simple to set up and was immediately user-friendly. It comes with many beat patterns and rhythms preprogrammed and you can easily create your own. He set to work with it right away and is pleased with the product. I did also buy the additional midi cables recommended and we are grateful. They allow you to connect to the computer and/or keyboard easily.

[10 V p-p ] This unit has been around for years it is easy to use and sounds great. I don't use the sounds I use it to flog midi out to my Kurzwiel pc3x. It works great ether in general midi or custom notes to match any implementation

[0.37 lb] I use this product live, triggering with 2 foot pedals whil I play my Nord keyboard. Numerous people have commented on the quality of the drums and how realistic they sound. This is my second Sr 16. I just bought it for a backup since my other unit is 10 years old, but still functioning flawlessly.

[8 HP] This DTX drum kit and module is Yamahas best design yet. The processor has so many cool features you must have one if you play electronic drums.

[8 HP] This drum pad is exactly what I was looking for. I knew it wasn’t capable of programming different kits but wanted it for extra sounds to add to my acoustic drum kit. I played it with a choir for a song and people really liked the sound being played through a small powered speaker. Had the ride, tom, snare and kick setup and it really went well with the song. I haven’t noticed any cross talk but if the drum stick is too close to parallel you can hit two pads at the same time with the tip and shaft of the the drum stick. Great for practice with headphones. My nephew had a blast playing the cowbell and other tones while his dad and I jammed. Might need to get him one for Christmas. The adjustability with tuning and reverb gives more options to try to match pitch and ambiance. The sensitivity setting works but is not fabulous. Have not tried hooking it up to my computer yet but imagine it would work well. I would recommend this for someone looking for something to practice on or just play around with. I sawed the top off of a cheap music stand that I got for free and the mount plate slides over it perfectly with just a little bit of duct tape so it holds firm. Can’t angle it but I can adjust the height. For the price this drum pad is totally worth it. If you are more serious about performing live you’ll probably want something more versatile but this works perfect as it is intended.
