Q: 9. There are three questions on this product, and the answers given all contradict each other. can you clarify all the answers please?

A: The long answer is that the conflict between Xencelabs Quick Keys and Wacom tablet drivers is a very specific issue which arises due to the limitations of WinTab, an API which can be used with Wacom devices to allow pen input in Windows. This has mainly been an issue in older versions of Photoshop and other Adobe software; modern versions rely instead on Windows Ink, a different API which Xencelabs has stated creates no issues when using both Xencelabs and Wacom devices. Xencelabs has provided instructions on dealing with this issue in a post on their subreddit here: https://bit.ly/3tsqcaI The short answer is that yes, there have been issues with driver compatibility, but this is mainly the case with older versions of Adobe programs and only on Windows. There should be no problems with current versions of Adobe software, and for users who are still having trouble the link above contains a workaround.

[6.5 x 4 x 0.02"] I have been using another leading brand of pen tablets for upward of 8 years. I have always had to use it wired because I could never get the wireless dongle to stay connected. Not to mentioned the constant driver issues. I had been reading a lot about these tablets, but hesitated because I already had a small and a medium of the other brand. However, I finally took the plunge and I couldn't be happier. The setup was a breeze and I have not lost wireless connectivity once since I hooked it up a couple of weeks ago. Some people mentioned that they didn't like the feel of the larger pen, but personally, I like it better. It has a smoother feel in the hand. The surface of the tablet feels a bit smoother, (less drag), as well. I tried the felt tips that come with it, but prefer the black plastic ones myself. I don't use the quick keys to their fullest capability and I probably wouldn't have purchased them if there was a medium tablet in white, without them. But, with that said, I have found myself using them on occasion. So, at some point I may find myself using them more. In the two weeks that I have had this tablet, (and I use it everyday), I have experienced zero problems. I am truly enjoying using it!! There is one con to the product, it doesn't have finger touch capabilities, (at least not what I have discovered), but I overcame that habit quickly with my trackpad. So, if you are in the market for a new pen tablet, or a first time buyer, I would without hesitation recommend this tablet!!

[6.5 x 4 x 0.02"] I'm a graphic designer with decades of drawing tablet experience. The best tablets have been Wacom for build quality, feel, and driver reliability. This tablet replaces my Wacom Intuos Pro Touch tablet. The build quality of the Xencelabs tablet is on par with the Wacom. The bundled stylii and controller provide excellent versatility and much more performance value than Wacom. The Xencelabs driver adds a feature I've asked of Wacom for many years - you can save custom settings and even share them. There's no way to do that via the Wacom driver. I do think there's some room for improvement on the Xencelabs driver. I'd like better click and double-click sensitivity and better mouse mode handling of a dual screen desktop where one screen is landscape and the other is portrait. I haven't had time yet to delve into customizing the Quick Keys.

[Unisex M] The Xencelabs tablet is terrific. I had a Wacom Intuous Pro and the Xencelabs is a much improved experience. Some of my problem with the Wacom was I had the small size which made precise movements difficult. I have the Xencelabs medium and it is much easier to make precise adjustments in Lightroom and Photoshop. Note in order to have scrolling capability with the Xencelabs you have to get the bundle with the Quick Keys Remote. I highly recommend this product.

[6.5 x 4 x 0.02"] This is the one to beat Wacom. Don't bother with other third party tablets as they are typically not worth it vs a Wacom (poor design, and horrible, horrible drivers) But the Xencelabs? None of those issues. Works just as well as all my Wacoms from the past 20 years. The software is easy to use (like it more than Wacoms) the dual pens are a treat. I HIGHLY recommend this tablet.

[Unisex M] As a long time user of a couple of different Wacom tablets, I decided to give this bundle a go. Yes.... this is really nice. The feel of the pen on the tablet surface it excellent. Pen ergonomics is excellent (3 button pen). Nice to have 3 buttons on the tablet for programmable stuff. The quick keys product is really nice. Takes a bit of getting used to, but the flexibility is superb. I'm very pleased with this bundle. If you have an existing Wacom and its' working for you, no need to change, but when you're ready for an upgrade, I'd give this a very serious look.

[Gray] So compact and what really makes it a great tablet is that it has a carrying case. Super responsive. To every movement I make. It works great in Capture One and innPhotoshop. Finally the overall size of the tablet makes it tge perfect tablet.

[Gray] I have had two other tablets in the past. One Wacom and one IP-Pen. The medium Xencelabs tablet is the best I have ever used and comes with two pens an added plus.

[Unisex M] I am a digital artist in New York City famous for the Drunk History visuals I made for Comedy Central. The Xencelabs company was created by former Wacom people who believed they could make a better tablet and they have.
The annoying Wacom Express Keys are gone. The Xencelabs plastic drawing surface feels more like natural paper/canvas, and there are two pens included. I like the skinnier one best. Overall the Xencelabs tablet is more sensitive and responsive when used with the Photoshop brush engine. I am never going back to a Wacom again. Rick Schwab

[6.5 x 4 x 0.02"] These replaced fingerless gloves I had that were made of similar (same?) materials, but were another brand, and were lost in a flood. The size chart lead me to order XL size, which is quite snug. Hope with some wear they will loosen up some.
