The KH25PC Video Head & Tripod Kit from Benro is a sturdy 2-stage aluminum tripod with an integrated mid-level spreader designed for supporting DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, and smaller video cameras. It replaces the popular KH25P, upgrading the overall payload capacity to 15 lb. This new model also provides an improved quick release system with two spring-loaded locating pins and a wider range of compatibility with select camera plates.

Many of the same impressive features of its predecessor, including continuous pan drag and independent twist-lock leg adjustment are retained, along with the working height range of 29.5 to 61.6" and the capability of folding down to just 31" for easy storage and transport. The KH25PC has retractable spiked feet for improved traction and includes a 60mm leveling ball, a pan handle that can be used for right- or left-handed use, and a padded carrying case with a strap.

Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. Is the BV10 head metal or plastic?

A: Metal with plastic components. I've been happy with it so far.

Q: 2. Is it normal for the fluid head to make a clicking sound internally every time you adjust the drag up or down?

A: It is perfectly normal to hear clicks or pops when you are adjusting a video head as the pieces inside align with themselves. What you do not want is any sound once you are recording.

Q: 3. I have a Canon C300 Mark 2. Do you think this tripod is a good enough option?

A: I use it with a RED Weapon and have used it with a BM Cinema and it handles the weight fine. I picked this tripod after spending a few hours in the store trying out similar options from multiple manufacturers. It seemed to be the best option even against a few products priced a bit higher.Have been very happy with it.

Q: 4. Does the bubble level illuminate?

A: The bubble level is not illuminated.

Q: 5. does it come with a case?

A: Yes. The BV4PRO comes with a padded case that also can be worn in back pack mode.

Q: 6. Is this an actual FLUID head or is it friction based?

A: This is a fluid head tripod.

Q: 7. Besides the 2kg difference in load capacity, are there any other major or key differences between the BV8 and BV10? Will I be sacrificing more than just load capacity? Is the BV10 just overall better-made?

A: The 2KG/4.4 Pound difference in load capacity really is what sets the BV8 and BV10 apart. They are both well made tripods, it would just be a matter of if you need that extra bit of load capacity for your set up.https://bhpho.to/2ozfv7d

Q: 8. what is the weight of the tripod ?

A: This tripod kit has just been announced and the weight information has yet to be released. A guesstimate as to the weight based on other Benro tripods would suggest a weight between 10 lbs/4.3 kg to 16 lbs/7.25kg.

Q: 9. What is the tripod legs in this kit? Is it the same tripod legs in the BV8?

A: The Benro BV6 Pro Video Tripod and the Benro BV8 Twin-Leg Aluminum Tripod share the same tripod. The difference is in the weight capacities of the video heads. BV6 13.2 lb./ 5.9 kg. BV8 17.6 lb / 8kg.

Q: 10. I have read in the BV6's description that the 75mm bowl can be removed to become a flat base to use on sliders. However, I can't seem to find any instructions anywhere on how to do this, and there doesn't seem to be an easy way to just remove the ballhead. Is there a solution to this?

A: There is a removable tie-down stud to convert the Benro BV6 Pro Video Tripod Kit to a flat base head.

[9.43 lb] I recently purchased a new teleprompter that was heavier then expected. My current tripods couldn't handle the 17 lbs (teleprompter and a Canon C100). I was looking for an affordable option to support my gear. I hadn't heard of Benro before, so I was skeptical. I am extremely happy and pleasantly surprised! Its rock solid. It can hold my equipment without any problems. Its sturdy and pretty light weight.

[Yes] The Benro BV10 is a very impressive tripod. I would expect to pay more for this features and quality. I liked it so much that I turned around an purchased their Hi-Hat model as well. Well designed, durable and attractive gear!

[Yes] So far, this tripod has performed exceptionally well. It's buttery SMOOOOOOTH. My camera rig is around 20 pounds all kitted out and this thing takes it like a champ. Since the head is a half ball-head, it can also be attached to a slider with a 3/8-16 thread. I've used it on my iFootage Shark slider and I can achieve moves with virtually perfect pan & tilts. I'm thinking about getting a smaller head exclusively for slider work. Because this tripod is as great as it it, I'll probably purchase another Benro head.

[Yes] When selecting your first heavy duty tripod (on a budget), this is definitely the bang for the buck. I've been researching durable fluid tripods for almost three years, never really ready to throw down the money for an overpriced Satchler or Manfrotto kit. This is the real deal right here, and moderately priced. The friction and fluid controls are awesome. It is super smooth and steady. Even at the tallest expansion these legs won't budge, even with my 20 lb rig. Thinking of anything I don't like about it....., I wish the pan would have a lock, at 0 clock, you pretty much have a lock, but there is no permanent brake. The tilt is great, but I wish there was some sort of braking mechanism that would allow the head the rest after a good tilt shot. As with all tripod fluid kits there is always going to be a slight whiplash when completing a slow smooth pan shot. However, this has got to be pretty close to perfect. With a little assist, like a helping hand on the neck of the head, you can achieve perfect fluid movements with a stop that does not backlash. Very happy, I finally found something I am happy to pay for. Do your research and find your dream tripod.

[60 mm Half Ball] This tripod definitely comes in at a great value. The construction is sturdy and it can do anything a sachtler can do, at a tenth of the price. The adjustable center column allows you to get the camera level during a quick set up, which is extremely convenient. With a capacity of around 22 lbs, this tripod can handle heavy camera packages, making it perfect for professional projects on a budget.

[Aluminum] As a DP who shoots in numerous, variying conditions (as we all do), I have been quite pleased with the Benro BV10. With a 22lb load capacity, it is well suited to handle my c300 and it's shoulder rig, as well as any peripherals. Great quality at an affordable price!
