This pack of 25 sheets of 11 x 17" Hahnemuhle Photo Silk Baryta X Paper 11x17 25 Sheetsis a cellulose paper with an optimized inkjet coating for photo application. It is perfectly suited for photo and poster prints. The baryta coating gives the impression of a traditional silver halide photo paper. The smooth, creamy white paper with its silky gloss finish produces a very good print quality, ensuring the best results for daily printing.

Q: 1. Where can I get a profile for this paper?

A: If you are using a Canon Printer there will be a profile in the Canon Print driver. If you are not using a Canon printer there is no profile published by Canon. You would select a Luster or Semi Gloss profile from Epson etc.

Q: 2. Does this paper is good for pigment ink, the majority of this paper that I have come a crosse are for dye ink.

A: The Canon Photo Paper Pro Luster is both pigment and dye ink compatible.

A: No idea sorry.

Q: 5. Is this A2 size?

A: The Canon Photo Paper Pro Luster (17 x 22", 25 Sheets), B&H # CA6211B025, is not A2 size although it is close. Proper A2 size is 16.5'' x 23.4''.

Q: 6. Are the Epson Metallic papers (glossy as well as pearl) archival?

A: Epson Metallic Photo Paper Glossy and Epson Metallic Photo Paper Luster are not strictly archival.

Q: 7. Is this product LU-101?

A: Yes, this is product LU-101.

Q: 8. Has anyone compared this to the Epson Metallic Glossy paper. If so, do you have a preference between the two (glossy vs. luster) papers for B&W and for color prints?

A: Yes. I prefer the glossy for metallic. The luster subdues the metallic. I wouldn't metallic B&W's with metallic. But color I prefer glossy metallic and lustre regular.

Q: 9. Is this paper considered archival suitable for selling print?

A: While I don't have the direct answer to the question, according to the Canon website It's great for portrait and wedding and fine art photography prints. if you do a search on Canon photo paper specifications , you will eventually find the Canon photo paper site. I am personally very please with the quality of the prints produced on this paper with my Canon Pro-100 printer.

Q: 10. Can the Epson Metallic Luster paper be used on injet or laser printers?

A: It is only compatible on inkjet printers.

[93%] I have used most of Hahnemuhle’s fine art papers, and this one is by far my favorite. Deep blacks, rich colors, and great contrast help your images really pop off the page. Well suited to both color and black and white images. I mostly use this smaller letter size for test prints and printer calibration before printing on its big brother at the 13x19 size. I hope to continue buying this paper for many years. 5

[Glossy] This paper is the thickest (350 GSM) and has a wonderful surface too. I have been using this paper for a couple of years and will continue to use it, as long as it is being manufactured... 5

[95%] I generally like watercolor papers, but this paper has a fabulous texture that manages to deliver the contrast of a glossy paper, while being very low glare. 5

[2.805 lb] The Hahnemuhle Baryta FB is outstanding! Coming from a long background of traditional darkroom photography, it's the best paper I've ever seen. However, the 13 x 19 box came to me with one corner crushed. It appeared that the protective cardboard corners were put on after the fact since the cardboard corners weren't crushed. All the sheets in the package at that corner were damaged so I had to cut each sheet thus not making use of the full size. Thoroughly disappointed with that. If B&H sees a crush corner don't try to cover it with a false sense of protection. 5

[93%] Often papers billed as glossy are barely so. Or if glossy, like one brand in particular, have what may be described as acne. This imperfection does not show under glazing but you know it is there. This paper is perfect. I wish it came in some additional sizes such as 17x25 and 24x36. 5
