Related Questions and Answers

Q: 1. WHAT'S LENGTH OF HEADPHONE WIRE........???

A: Cable Length of this headphones would be 8.3' / 2.53 m

Q: 2. Does it amplify e.g. an I-pod?

A: It does not amplify because it's a passive device. But the mine one connected to my moto g sounds great!!

Q: 3. Given their impedance is 60 Ohms (most portable headphones have low impedance - less than 30 ohms), will they sound loud enough from a cell phone?

A: These headphones are extremely efficient and you will not have problems getting enough power out of them from standard PC headphone jacks, cel phones, etc. They sound great. It will be one of the best headphone purchases you've made under $100. The only thing is that the metal headband easily catches one's hair. So be careful when removing them! I have pulled hairs out!

Q: 4. Any one use these for working out? How do they hold up?

A: The Shure AONIC 215 Gen 2 Bluetooth True Wireless In-Ear Headphones (Blue) perform pretty well due to the IPX4 water-resistance rating that helps withstand gym workouts.

Q: 5. Is the plug 90 degrees or straight?

A: the said product is of very good quality. and i am happy with this.

Q: 6. are these good for children (ages 8-12)?

A: No. The connection wire is short, cheap, and two wire design (vs one-wire that dangles on one side). Also the entire headset is fragile and seems breakable. The Koss UR20 is much more robust, has a generously long, heavier wire, the wire dangles from only one side (not from both ears), and has better sound quality. Also the UR20 is less expensive. Hope this helps.

Q: 7. Do they come with a mic input?

A: Unfortunately these headphones do not come with an Inline Microphone. It also does not provide a way to plug an external microphone.

Q: 8. Do these headphones come with a mic?

A: Unfortunately these headphones do not come with an Inline Microphone.

Q: 9. What does "neckband design" mean?

A: Neckband-design headphones sit on your neck. Imagine a neck strap for your spectacles - it has a similar function/design.

Q: 10. Is the plug bent

A: Yes. Great sound at any price.

[0.175 lb] I bought them for field monitoring sound, they are comfortable and seem durable. I find I'm using them a lot at the editing console just to listen to music on the XM feed. I'm astounded at the discrete highs and then the drum/base punch on the jazz tracks I'm listening to right now. Volume is low, I can hear my keyboard clicks, but the music is wonderful.

[Dynamic] It's annoying to hear someone's loud music coming out of their earbuds or headset. I don't want to be one of them, but I want to enjoy my music sometimes. This set does not leak any sound (unless you turn the volume unnecessarily high!), just like the Koss earbuds I already own. The color is a very nice as shown on the page. It's very affordable and I'm glad I got this.

[Semi-Open-Back] Ive been buying these headphones from back when they were Optimus branded and sold at Radio Shack.  They sound insanely good for the weight/price, great for situations where you need critical audio all day but dont want to wear heavy cans or in ear monitors.

[80 Hz to 18 kHz] These light simple headphones have replaced studio quality ones costing hundreds more in all applications around my home. As a musician, quality & fidelity reign supreme, but value is always appreciated too. These sound as good as ANY I've ever owned at any price. I give them as gifts to friends now, they are simply that good!

[Dynamic] For this low of a price, I have not found a better sounding headphone---it destroys some headphones at 3 to 4 times its price. I play music ( hobby) and my tastes are varied--will listen to anything--love jazz/fusion/ rock/classical/electronic/world/gospel/acoustic/new age / DCI drum corps. I am running a standard laptop and an old Audioquest Dragonfly v1.0 DAC--poor man's budget stuff, nothing fancy. With this combo, depth, soundstage, instrument timbres and tonal balance are amazing at this price. CONS: semi-fragile construction--take care of them ( ! ), presently a goofy look ( consumers may want to get out the Krylon !-- my opinion--sorry, Koss ! What happened to the-- more attractive IMHO-- all black KTXPRO design?). Very satisfying sound; I continue to be impressed every time I listen. Personally, I think this is a budget audiophile classic, and I have been a fan of it for decades through its various incarnations ( even back to the Optimus Pro 35 Radio Shack days !) A MUST buy on a budget---you will not be disappointed at this price. Despite the present look ( ! ), well done, Koss !

[80 Hz to 18 kHz] I have been using these headphones at a local library for months to plug into a PC 3.5 mm headphone jack. The in-line volume control means the world because one doesn't need to keep clicking on the GUI volume control icon every time the volume level changes for each website or video. They also work great plugged into my mobile device for work. The foam earpads are comfortable for long periods and the plastic headpiece is easily adjustable on both sides. This second pair I got for leisure use after taking my first pair to work for use there. Get them while they're still making/selling them! I've seen good earphones disappear from online shelves before. B&H is the way to go.

[Stereo] I've been buying these for decades...since they were sold under the Radio Shack branding. They sound just the same today. Also bought some new foam ear pads for some of my older ones. They fit perfectly.

[32 Ohms] I think these sound good for the price point. Certainly sound better than others at this price. Good, full range of sound.
