A: The previous version of the Tilta V-Mount Advanced Power Distribution Module for RED Komodo Type II did not support extended battery data. This has been fixed with this model and it is still going though the approval process with RED.

Q: 7. So this module must be connected to a V-mount battery to power the transmitter? Can it not receive power from a camera?

A: The Tilta Power Supply Module for DJI Video Transmitter (V-Mount to V-Mount) needs power from a V mount battery.

A: No. Batteries can not be hot swapped on the following unit.

A: DJI does not mention that you will be able to receive metadata. DJI says it allows you use the DJI Ronin 4D with the Ronin-S External GPS Module, it can enhance the stabilization performance of the gimbal roll axis during rapid acceleration.

[1x 4-Pin Male] We are using the BMPCC 4k/Ronin setup for out church services and always had to do a battery change at the worst possible moment in the set. Now the Ronin charges the camera the entire service with a couple of bars left on the Ronin battery. We were looking into a v-mount setup until I found this cable and saved a ton of money and weight on the rig. 5

[0.19 lb] What more is there to say: when you use hard to find or proprietary connectors for your cables, you can pretty much charge as high as you want. For me, a cable like that shouldn't be sold for more than maybe $10. I don't blame B and H, but the manufacturer. But what choice do we have ? Nitpicking done. As for the cable, it's sturdy and works like it should. 5

[1x 4-Pin Male] A must-have if you have the BMPCC4K/6K. Super useful. Only drawback is that the Ronin's battery life tanks. 5

[0.19 lb] Because of the large power capacity the Ronin-S holds, plugging my Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Cam 4K (which drains power like no business) directly into my Ronin-S gives me the most sufficient power option to my camera while using it on the Ronin-S. No need for external power which just adds extra weight and could become cumbersome. 5

[Black] A must have for gimbal work. I use this to power my bmpcc6k on my Ronin S. Because of the form factor it is impossible to swap out batteries without having to rebalance the camera on the gimbal. With this cable that is no longer necessary as now the 6K would now be powered from the Ronin! Not much more to say. 5
