[0.1 lb] This product is easy to set up and eliminates audio by simply connecting it passively inline between audio with an annoying hum and the device to receive the clean audio. The only got-ya is that the Right and Left inputs are relative to their side of the box and the right and left outputs are relative to their side of the box. This sounds simple but when look down at the box from a top view with wires connected, the right input is diagonal to right output and left input, therefore, is diagonal to the left output. Opposite of how my mind works, I instinctively hook the same color wire on both sides of the box which reverses the left and right channel. In a mono setup, you can end up with no sound output at all as I did until I realized my mistake.

[0.1 lb] Absolutely love this unit. It allowed me to mount a 25" monitor as flush as possible against a rack. Much cheaper than buying a rack monitor and you can pick ANY VESA monitor you like. I even used it with a VESA adapter for a monitor which was NOT VESA compatible and the depth of it was able to absorb the crazy length of this mounting arm and the monitor adapter. Could not possibly be happier with this purchase.

With these installed I noticed no reduction in volume or sound quality, and the hum is gone!

[0.1 lb] I have used these in the past, and are really nice to use where space is a consideration, but even when space is not a consideration this is an item that I would still consider using. Works great working at line levels without having to have a huge high-powered speaker L-pad in the wall that eventually gets scratchy sounding and dead spots. Made by RDL which I've used in many custom installations in the past. Very reliable products, practically bulletproof! Had to get 2 for stereo.
