Unfortunately for me, my UV filter is pretty stuck on the lens since it's been there since I bought the lens so neither rubberized or steel wrenches worked to get the filter off. That being said I still think that purchasing the wrenches was a good idea and if I had to do it again I would just buy the rubberized ones. Hope this helps.
