The gold FotodioX GoTough Tripod Adapter II for GoProfrom FotodioX GoTough Tripod Adapter II for GoProis an all-metal mount which allows you to attach your GoPro housing or frame to a tripod or other support device that has a standard 1/4"-20 screw. It features built-in tightening thread so no nut is required, and is constructed out of aluminum to be durable while still remaining lightweight. The upright tines of the tripod adapter are placed close together to allow for a good fit and are 'soft treated' to allow for hand tightening of the screw.

A: Yes. If you remove the blue piece, which is also sold separately as B&H # FOQRMOUNTBL, then you'll find a standard 1/4 -20 thread. Unlike the Manfrotto Nano Clamp it's nicely padded where it clamps onto your handlebar. One word of caution, if this is for a bicycle and if you're at all concerned about the weight of your bike then this is NOT the mount for you. It is surprisingly heavy, but seems very durable and well-made.

[1.5 x 1.5 x 1"] This thumbscrew is longer than the original screws. It extends past the GoPro media mod case and is therefor much easier to tighten when mounting. 5

[0.8 oz (22.7 g)] I think I've broken half a dozen plastic adapters like this and am DONE.� This are solid and can handle the torque and pressure you need without breaking.� Had the Hero5 Black on a Jet Truck doing 300mph, plastic would've never handled the torque to keep in secure.� Highly recommend 5

[1/4"-20] I feel that GoPro should have included this Longer Thumbscrew with the GoPro Hero 9/10 media Mod but it's not, so I'm REALLY happy that FotodioX stepped up to the plate and hit a Grandslam with this Long Thumbscrew that I feel is a must-have for those of us using the media mod. 5

[0.8 oz (22.7 g)] If like me you use a media mod on GoPro you know the original thumb screws are too fiddly to use. This beauty just works. Extends past the edge of the case and is Aluminium rather than plastic! A great find at B&H! Very happy! 5

[1/4"-20] If you're tired of plastic, this is the real thing, it's metal, tough, solid and worked the first time. I can't tell you how many third party GoPro things want to always cross thread and then end up breaking, not this bad boy. Just what I need to get the GP on a 1/4 20. 5
