The USB-C host connection doesn't hinder the Surface device's built-in kickstand, and the placement of the card reader keeps your screen more private during transactions. When attached to your Surface device, this adapter provides a USB-C 3.2 Gen 1 port that reaches speeds up to 10 Gb/s and supports up to 60W of pass-through power. Using the DisplayPort Alt-Mode of the USB-C port, you can output up to 4K resolution at 60 Hz. Connect a second 4K display at 60 Hz using the HDMI 2.0 port.

[USB] Needed protection for the iPad I got for my 9 year old. Every case that I get him, he takes it off while he is using the iPad, saying the case gets in the way. After he broke my iPad, i decided I had to get him something that he could keep on all the time without it getting in the way. ANd this fit the bill perfectly. I don't have to worry about him banging the iPad. t has even withstood several falls already. And yes, he keeps it on all the time. 5

[Platinum Silver] I'm getting back into photography and videography and needed something to transfer files into my main micro pc via USB. I had considered OTHER card readers at lower prices from mfg's who are normally associated with photography BUT then I read a review for one of those and an owner actually took the time to test transfer speeds and revealed that even though a device may SAY it's usb 3.x and technically be correct enough to legally do so, at the price point I was originally looking at it's a hustle. So once my price point got pushed into this reader's territory I started watching online reviews and was sold (did you know it's one part of a larger modular card reading docking system???) I have used this now to transfer thousands of large files from SD cards and it's fast ... WELL work the price, buy one OR buy the whole system if you work with a variety of card formats. 5

[USB] Upgraded my 2013 iMac to the new M3 models and wanted to also upgrade my old card reader. This thing is well built and fast! I shoot on both CF and SD cards so this checks the boxes for me. It's very fast when loading Canon RAW files. 5

[USB] I have owned many Surface Pros, and the 8 is finally the device it was supposed to be. Past Surfaces have been a little flakey and were throttled, performance-wise. They used to cut down to 200MHZ processing in some situations. But the 8 has been rock solid, stable and no longer throttles. The 120HZ screen is beautiful and they shortened the bezels. Thunderbolt 4 has been added as well. My only real complaint is, it's the Surface PRO, yet it ships with Windows 11 Home. Come on Microsoft, don't be cheap. 5

[Platinum Silver] This SanDisk card reader had no problems reading a card that was giving us errors when using different brand of card reader. We though we lost data from the card only to find that the old card reader was the problem. We tried this SanDisk reader and like magic we had no issues and all the date was readable just fine! Life saver! 5
