Q: 5. One picture shows they’re app controlled but I see no mention of an app in the item description. Do they use an app for full control?

A: According the manufacturer, the GVM Easily app installed on an iOS device and Android would control these panels via Wi-Fi.

Q: 6. These look a lot like my LitePanel Astras. Are they made by LitePanels, or does GVM make the LitePanel Astras? Are these anything like my $1,000 Astras?

A: GVM LT-50S Bi-Color LED Video 2-Light Kit is not made by LitePanel company. And GVM is a separate company and they do not make LitePanel brand lights. There is a big difference between the two brands in terms of construction and performance.

Q: 7. The FEL bulbs I buy for my Ex88 are 1000W. Is this 85W LED even close to that output?

A: The Lowel Rifa EX 88 LED 80W Bulb & Diffuser Kit does not approach 1000W in output.

A: The panel is approximately 8.1 inches x 10 inches.

Q: 10. how does this unit hook up to the tripod?

A: See that black plate? They call it a cheese plate. The legs of the scorpion fit into the plate with tiny screws. Then you screw the tripod plate into the cheese plate. It isn't crazy secure, but it does allow for really quick changes between handheld and tripod mounted.

[2-Year ] New lenses are expensive, and I don't want to shell out for an unexpected repair after the warranty expires, or worse yet, have to replace it because of an accidental drop or damage. That peace of mind is what makes this type of warranty worth it. I know that for three years I'm good. Expensive, but worth it. 5

[International] The Sony Factory Extended Warranties are an excellent addition to any new VTR or camera purchase. There are no difficult third party hoops to jump through or requirements to satisfy. You simply register the item and the warranty online, and submit a copy of the receipt and warranty with the unit when it's sent in for factory service instead of submitting payment information. All other aspects of the factory repairs remain the same, except that the end user doesn't pay for them! I would highly recommend this purchase to anyone buying new Sony products. 5

[2-Year ] Although you can buy other 4k HDBaseT extenders for less money, the Atlona units come with cable testing and firmware upgrade software which made the difference for me. The unit also works flawlessly for my 50ft run. 5

[Parts & Labor] I haven't had to use the extended warranty or damage protection yet (knock on wood) but I feel confident having it. I was able to create an online Sony portal to refer back to my coverage and get relevant information. It was easy to set up and at a great price. 5

[2-Year ] One of the reason why I purchased the K-70 from B&H was the availability to purchase the Pentax extended warranty (extends it to 3 years) at a reasonable price. B&H has an excellent reputation and being able to purchase the extended Pentax warranty was icing on the cake. 5

[Parts & Labor] As my old Pentax cameras have lasted forever and are built like tanks I am not expecting to need this warranty but I purchased it because of the reasonable price and length of the warranty ($50 and for 2 years after the Pentax warranty ends). 5

[2-Year ] A sudden gust of wind blew over my tripod and sent my last camera, only 1 year old, crashing to the ground rendering it inoperable. Unfortunately it is too costly to fix nor do I have any insurance on it. It's not only the cost of the camera that I lost but also the investment in time getting to know my camera. In my opinion, it's well worth it to protect my investment. 5
