A: The Pocket Cinema Camera 4K is not on the list of the compatible cameras from the Ronin-S. However it is not being released until the Fall, we will need to wait for its release to see how well it works on the Ronin-S and if any of the functions are available to control through the Gimbal.

A: Hey Jasmine. Although further testing needs to be done to confirm compatibility, there is nothing about the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera 4k that would fall within acceptable dimensions.

Q: 3. How will it hold up in a dusty environment? I understand is it not weather sealed (ie water resistant).

A: While the Ronin-S has no IP rating, there is not a lot of room for dust to get in to the motors. When in a non-optimal environment please limit exposure to the elements and try to clean your Ronin-S thoroughly to remove any potential debris.

Q: 4. Does it have a low angle mode?

A: If by low angle mode you mean being able to point to camera straight down or more, yes. You can accomplish this by holding Ronin-S upside down and flipping around the tilt arm.

Q: 5. Is there any place on the handle where you can mount a wireless receiver (audio)? If there is a 1/4''-20 hole somewhere that will work to be able to mount a cold shoe on to put the receiver in.

A: There are currently no accessories designed to be able to do this, but we are working on a wide range of accessories that will allow for a large number of mounting and accessory options.

Q: 6. Is it fully compatible with NIkon D850 and D810?

A: At the time of this posting, December 5th 2018, no. However DJI has stated in their most recent update to the Ronin-S compatibility chart that they are working on improving the RSS-IR cable reliability and developing USB shutter control for the 80D.

A: The D850 currently has start/stop video and shutter control, and the D500 is able to be balanced perfectly (with supported lenses, respectively).
