A: The Eartec Max 4G Single Headset with Dual 3.5-2.5mm Connectors (B&H # EAHUBMXS) can be connected directly to the Eartec HUB Mini Duplex Transceiver Base for 1 Plug-In & up to 8 Wireless UltraLITE Headsets - USA (B&H # EAHUB) or it can be used as a wireless remote headset when connected with an Eartec UltraPAK Remote Beltpack for UltraLITE & HUB (B&H # EAULP1000). If you need an intercom system with six wireless headsets, you will need to use the Eartec HUB instead of the self-contained wireless master headset included with the all-wireless UltraLITE system. The master headset internal electronics that are similar to those in the HUB, but there are limits on how many wireless headsets that can be used with each system. The all-wireless system works with one wireless master headset and up to four wireless remote headsets while the HUB can be used with up to eight wireless remote headsets and one wired headset which connects directly to the HUB. The HUB can then be worn as a beltpack. Two HUBs can be linked together to create an expanded system for up to 16 wireless remote headsets. A: No, this particular Eartec Max 4G Single Headset with Dual 3.5-2.5mm Connectors is intended for use with the Eartec HUB Mini Duplex Transceiver Base for 1 Plug-In & up to 8 Wireless UltraLITE Headsets. It is not compatible for use with the Eartec Scrambler SC-1000 Simplex Wireless PLUS 2-Way Radio. There is a different version of the Max 4G Single Headset that is designed specifically for use with the Scrambler, which is the Eartec Headset with Max 4G Single Connector & Inline PTT for SC-1000 Radios (B&H # EASC1M4GSHIP).

A: Channel A,B,C or D refers the the frequency the mixrophones transmit on. If buying multipe systems you should buy different frequencies.

[1x Proprietary] I work as a technical director for live production. When we have to do remote shows (COVID era) we're using bluejeans or phone calls to communicate during the show. It has a warm, analogue, slightly fuzzy sound and is very good at communicating voice (not room reflections/background noises). This beautiful headset paired with the 3.5mm adapter has made my life so much better, and so much cooler. Me and Gene Kranz are wearing the same headset. 5

[1x Proprietary] I have used the Plantronics StarSet H31CD Headset for over 33 years as a 911 dispatcher. Obviously, I love this model. It is lightweight, very comfortable, and has good incoming and outgoing sound quality. I would highly recommend you purchase the extended warranty on it, though. I've had several of these headsets last for years, but my last one stopped working right at about 1 year. The extended warranty I purchased on it was well worth the price, as I got a refund on my full purchase price, and put that towards purchasing another one (for which I also purchased another extended warranty). 5

[Stereo] Plugged it in right out of the box and was using it within a half hour. Great sound quality. Love having the option to use this using the over-the-head or over-ear styles. Great having volume controls and on/off button right on the ear piece. I didn't buy the auto answering accessory because I don't roam far from the phone base when using the headset, so this is perfect as a stand-alone solution. Easy and quick to switch between using the handset or headset. 5
