The T60RP 50th Anniversary edition, based on the T60RP, has a new RP (regular phase) sound profile tuned to precise specifications. It's made with durable African padauk wood and produced in a Japanese factory, with meticulous assembly and acoustic adjustments. Machined from solid wood, the African padauk wood offers the depth and luster of a robust mid-low range and enjoyable clarity in the treble range, free from muddiness or elongation.

Fostex's proprietary RP diaphragm is crafted from highly heat-resistant polyimide film with etched copper foil. The driver unit utilizes a neodymium magnet, offering a broad reproduction range, exceptional transient response, and a high input resistance of up to 3W.

The headphone cable features a high-quality OFC (oxygen-free copper) conductor, ensuring high-resolution and crisp sound across all frequencies. When connected to a balanced output player or headphone amplifier using an optional balanced cable, it effectively suppresses unwanted noise and enhances sound clarity with improved channel separation.

The head pad utilizes genuine leather, enhancing its texture and providing a comfortable and stable wearing experience. The T60RP headphones include two sets of earpads—synthetic leather and velour. Use the synthetic leather earpads for long-lasting durability or use the velour earpads for luxurious all-day comfort.

Q: 5. My Angelbird AV PRO CFAST works fine with Z CAM E2. But just cant be read it on my PC via the Transcend TS-RDF2 CF reader. Is it the problem of the reader? Anyone had the same issue?

A: In our tests we also had issues getting a reading from the CFast card on the Transcend reader. We have tried multiple other readers in our office and there are no issues to report. Angelbird does make a solid single card CFast reader that operates independently but stacks as a system with the SD and CFX card readers. In our tests, having an independent reader results in a more efficient power draw and smoother operation than multi-card readers. Hope that helps.

[Dynamic] Managed to nab the emerald editions and they look as fantastic as they sound. Coming from Audeze LCD2s which are great as well but just uncomfortable for longer listening sessions. The TH900mk2s are lightweight in comparison and very comfortable. I also needed a closed back design for listening at night when the wife is asleep but didnt want to compromise sound quality, and these dont disappoint. Soundstage is still good, smooth across the lows/mids/highs, doesnt seem to be missing or lacking anywhere. I expect to enjoy these for a long time to come.

[Semi-Open-Back] Purchased this strap to hold my camera as well as big lenses when attached to my camera. The neck strap was always in the way and not comfortable. Paired this with a QR socket for my camera and 600 mm lens. Simply awesome setup. The strap is adjustable to fit me and easy to put on.

[Stereo] I purchased this to take with me on a trip to the Pacific Northwest where I would be hiking in the North Cascades and on Mount Ranier. All I can say is-Thank goodness I had this. The ability to have my camera readily available, but secure without putting too much of a strain on my neck was a godsend. Looking forward to using it along the sidelines for sports as well. Easy to adjust, easy to slide on and felt like nothing was there. Loved it.

[Semi-Open-Back] great head-phone! If you listen to hiphop,r&b or any music in general, you need this. Bass is deep, both mids and highs are great. Headphone works ok with your mobile devices, but you will ge greatly rewarded if you power this with a amp.

I highly recommend it to those who don't want to weigh down their necks and have easy access to your camera. It also comes with a safety tether that puts my mind at ease.

[1/4" TRS] Pros: The best compliment I can pay these are this: When I listen to music on them, I have yet to wish for more treble or bass or vocal clarity. They disappear on my head and I can just truly enjoy what I'm listening to. For the price, especially compared to the cost of other planar headphones, that is epic. Cons: I would suggest watching Z Reviews' Youtube video on all of the Mk3 headphones to get an idea on the differences and comfort mods between the three. (https://youtu.be/SpRCK6CVdis - Children beware, there is swearing in the video.) I think his review is spot on, in just about every aspect of this. (Disclaimer: I haven't heard the 40RPs, just the 20's and 50's.) First Con: The stock earpads. They are super thin, and not very comfortable - but to be honest, not hurtful. They are essentially ON-EAR headphones with the stock pads, as your earlobes will make contact with the inner driver area. The Shure HPAEC1540 and 1840 pads are hands down the most comfortable and best sounding pads I've found for the T20RPs. I like the 1840 pads just a bit more than the 1540. Second Con: The headband is thinly padded. It isn't uncomfortable, but can be improved upon. I went with the Mr. Speakers leather headband, and they just float on my head now. No pressure points becoming sore after hours of listening. The hardest part of installing this was figuring out where in the house I left my screwdriver. Third Con: Sensitivity. These are not easy to drive. Your smartphone will not suffice. If you need an inexpensive amp, I suggest the Micca OriGen+, or one of the many Fiio products. I listen to mostly rock, classic rock, metal, edm, blues, and a limited number of jazz and classical tracks. I would describe my listening preferences as being 1/2 way between bass-head and audiophile. I love bass, want it loud, but do not want it trampling over the rest of the music. I purchased the T20RP Mk3.
