[2-Year ] Although you can buy other 4k HDBaseT extenders for less money, the Atlona units come with cable testing and firmware upgrade software which made the difference for me. The unit also works flawlessly for my 50ft run.

[International] This document scanner, out of the box, is ready for individual owners/users and centrally managed corporate workgroups with many users (frequent and occasional) and many scanners. It has built-in ethernet as well as USB. The included software is well thought out; the many details are organized nicely, and done so that it's straightforward for all the different target users can effectively organize their scanning activity - by type, by destination, etc. It's business-oriented, assumes you know how to use your computer, as opposed to consumer-oriented (spoon-feeding you social media and assuming *it* knows how you use your computer). The scans are fine and it works fast; the multi-page feeder will easily do a multi-page two-sided (duplex) document, and the software helps keep it all together etc. All in all, complete, comprehensive, quite good.


If there's a downside, it's that there's a lot of different software modules it installs, and I found the updates a bit confusing - didn't find them automatically, and after I went and found & downloaded the update files, when I ran them it said they were already installed, so it's not immediately clear whether what came on the DVD is in fact the most current or whether what's installed was or even needed to be updated. It's OK in the sense that the software is complete and not buggy, so I can just get on with scanning.

[Extended] A sudden gust of wind blew over my tripod and sent my last camera, only 1 year old, crashing to the ground rendering it inoperable. Unfortunately it is too costly to fix nor do I have any insurance on it. It's not only the cost of the camera that I lost but also the investment in time getting to know my camera. In my opinion, it's well worth it to protect my investment.

[Parts & Labor] New lenses are expensive, and I don't want to shell out for an unexpected repair after the warranty expires, or worse yet, have to replace it because of an accidental drop or damage. That peace of mind is what makes this type of warranty worth it. I know that for three years I'm good. Expensive, but worth it.

[International] The Sony Factory Extended Warranties are an excellent addition to any new VTR or camera purchase. There are no difficult third party hoops to jump through or requirements to satisfy. You simply register the item and the warranty online, and submit a copy of the receipt and warranty with the unit when it's sent in for factory service instead of submitting payment information. All other aspects of the factory repairs remain the same, except that the end user doesn't pay for them! I would highly recommend this purchase to anyone buying new Sony products.

[Extended] I bought a cheap one off of Amazon and it never worked and this was plug and play. A lot more money than the Amazon splitter I bought but the time I wasted trying to get it to work would of easily paid for this gem of a splitter.

[2-Year ] Cleaned up multiple EDID problems between an UHD disk player and a 4K Sony projector.  The Atlona help line was fantastic.  The technician could be reached instantly, was extremely knowledgeable and very gracious.  This is a great product from a company offering world class technical guidance.

[International] As my old Pentax cameras have lasted forever and are built like tanks I am not expecting to need this warranty but I purchased it because of the reasonable price and length of the warranty ($50 and for 2 years after the Pentax warranty ends).
